Dog-friendly, waterfront getaway, furnished patio

Nice location right on the Sound. Good restaurants nearby. Large, open rooms make for a relaxing time.

This is a beautiful home and we really loved the location. The neighborhood is very quiet and the sounds from the ocean waves were so soothing.

This property would be nice for multiple people/families. The inside is clean and spacious. The back of the house faces the bay with a path to the quiet shoreline , front has views of the gulf across the street. There is a hot tub available. The outdoor cushions/pillows smelled like mildew. The entertaining space below the house has not been really kept up. I would likely not rent the house again if I needed outdoor entertainment space. The island is quiet which was a plus.

The location of the property was good however, there were minor details that needed attended, and the property manager did not come out to fix any of them, although they stated that they would. Poor communication about amenities no longer being present cleanliness initially appeared to be good, however, the longer you stayed, you realized the problems it has with bugs.

The location was great...got to enjoy oceanside and bayside...could watch sunset and sunrise from porch...the highlight of our trip.

The sandy beach is one of the best we’ve found on the bay side of Dauphin Island, and the water was deep enough to swim unlike many areas on that side of the island. Hot tub needs a cover though.
