Location was fine and house has great potential. Layout is great. However, internet was out the entire time, light bulbs were missing, not enough eating utensils for 10 people, and other things like that.

The property manager responded to an issue with the upstairs shower leaking through the ceiling. He stated it was scheduled to be replaced after we left. Understandable…I don’t want it replaced while we were there. So, we didn’t use it for the remainder of our stay. Meaning we had 10 people to use the one remaining shower. We were promised a discount after our reservation ended, but have not received it as of three days later. The manager has not replied to my calls/texts or Vacasa’s requests since the day we were scheduled to leave

Location is excellent. The overall experience is satisfactory. Furniture's are old but well maintained. One of the bathrooms was not usable due to water leakage. As we traveled in a group with family, we faced a lot problems.

The island itself was very nice and family oriented. West end beach was nice and had a lot of fun. As far as the home Surf n Turf it needs a lot of maintenance/updates. Many pictures were either old or false advertisement. We got there and many things stood out to make for sore eyes and the beach behind the house was nothing like the pictures. The beach areas across the street on south side are very nice though.

Great location on the Mississippi sound. Great view over all. Hardly any traffic and pretty quiet place. Nice location to inshore fish and crab or go gigging for flounder.

This home was a great getaway for the family. There are a few cosmetic things that need attention inside the home and the back deck needs some attention as well. Nothing was bad enough that I wouldn’t stay there again, but will only get worse as time goes on. I would highly suggest bringing some mosquito spray if you plan on spending much time in the yard area during the day or do any crab hunting or fishing at night. Overall great place, just needs some attention.
