This beach house is in a truly wonderful beachfront location, which made our Christmas visit special. The direct access to the beach and the peaceful setting were exactly what we were hoping for. The home itself would benefit from some general TLC, there are a few pieces of furniture that should be updated, along with some normal wear and tear that repainting and minor refreshes could address. That said, the views more than make up for it. The sunrise from the master balcony is absolutely breathtaking, and spending time in the living room or on the deck watching the waves roll in is incredibly relaxing. If your priority is being right on the beach and you’re comfortable with a home that could use a few cosmetic updates, this property is a lovely place to stay.
The location and amenities were great. Everything was very clean when we arrived and the check-in was super easy. It had great bathrooms and a nice kitchen. The furniture situation was not very comfortable but could easily be upgraded. I would recommend this place to others.
Cons: Our main issue was the cleanliness. When we arrived there were wet, used towels in the upstairs bathrooms. The sinks had dried toothpaste and hair in them and the one upstairs room didn’t have clean sheets. The mattresses are not comfortable and they squeak. The comforters are paper thin. So I’d recommend bringing your own sheets and towels. The washing machine stopped working after day 3 of 7. And the doors to the laundry were of the hinges. The WiFi was awful. Pros: The ocean view was amazing from the back of the property. Not a lot of people on the beach. At sunrise I was the only one out there. Very peaceful and beautiful. It’s not far from all of the restaurants and stores.
The view was great and the amount of kitchen supplies (plates, utensils bowls...etc.) were plenty. It did need more regular cups as there were only 4. It also could use a supply of trash bags for those staying more than a weekend. The set up was nice as each room had it's own bathroom however the beds desperately need updating. They are old spring mattresses. If you get cold bring a blanket. The blankets furnished are as thin as a sheet literally and we had to go purchase blankets. The house definitely needs work. The paint is peeling off the ceiling near the sliding glass doors in multiple locations and there is water damage on the kitchen ceiling. Several air vents were dusty and rusted. There was zero cleaning supplies aside from a little starter kit that contained some dish soap, a sponge, dish detergent for the dishwasher, and one little packet of laundry detergent. Also, according to the listing there is towels in the bathrooms but also should be more in the bathroom cabinets or a linen closet. There were not any so all 6 of us had 1 towel and 1 rag a piece to use for 4 days. Thankfully I brought beach towels for the beach however we still ended up having to buy laundry detergent to wash towels and rags. I definitely wouldn't have spent $1,055 for 4 nights during "off season" if I had saw it in person first.
It was clean, Fun and truly excellent customer service.
The price for this 3 bedrooms and 3 full bath house was perfect for our group of six. Right on the beach with gorgeous views, comfy and cute inside, and plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus a washer/dryer and even shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. Some cosmetic touch-ups are needed, but nothing that affects comfort or functionality. We’d definitely stay here again!
