Luxurious Gulf-front home w direct beach access, close to shops & dining

Big house with an excellent view. You can even see the sunset from the master bedroom balcony! The location is close to everything without feeling crowded. You are literally on the beach, and there’s plenty of room to spread out without being too close to your neighbors! A house of this size is bound to need some repairs, but everything that was needed is mostly cosmetic. The beds and couches were comfy which is a must when sleeping away from home.

When we arrived, we found four overflowing trash bins, and the stench was awful. There was no escaping it, whether going to our cars or heading out to the beach. I contacted Vacasa twice, and they told us to take the bins to the curb on trash day, which was three days later. They refused to take any action regarding the trash. Upon arrival, one of the beds was broken. They did send someone to fix it the next day. The kitchen was acceptable, but there were no oven pans available, and the skillets were flaking and in poor condition. There was only one large pot, and it had no lid. Additionally, there was a foul smell coming from the pipes in the master bathroom. Many of the faucets in the house were loose, and there were holes in the walls that needed repairs. The dining room rug was filthy. The rusty rods beneath the house were also concerning, as they were in disrepair. Overall, the house requires a significant amount of attention. This list of issues is much longer than I care to write. On a positive note, the beach is nice!

The house looks just like it’s pictured. We only had a few issues that maybe we missed in the fine print. This house has 3 flights of stairs. There is an elevator but it does not work. There is no walk way to the beach only a trail through the sand, this made it difficult for a few of our guest to get out to the beach. The kitchen lacks a few pieces of cookware such as a baking sheet/ pizza pan and a few more oven mitts would be nice. There also ended up being no pull out couch in the living room, just two couches that someone could sleep on. We had a few individuals back out so still had plenty of space. The best thing about this house were the amount of bathrooms. Overall, we enjoyed our time at the house and the location to restaurants/the store are nice. The beach wasn’t overly crowded.

Located on front beach in a perfect spot for access to restaurants etc. Loved that we were supplied with numerous bath towels, etc.

We had our 3rd annual cousins reunion at Casa Del Mar July 17th-July 20th. The property was amazing for ALL 13 adults in our 60's. The house was very clean, including all the bathrooms, kitchen etc. All the beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing and it's steps from the beach. We were also grateful the Vacasa Management located a few miles away allowed us to have a early check-in due to the fact that the house didn't have prior guests. Thank you so much 😂. Finally, the only thing we wished was located on the property was a gas/charcoal grill and a few more extra towels. Nonetheless, we had a fabulous stay 😂.
