Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout Gulf Shores, and a variety of shops, restaurants, and nightlife are within walking distance - as is Gulf State Park (half a mile east) with its beautiful nature paths and fishing pier. The Craft Farms Golf Club is five miles north, the Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club is seven miles west, and the legendary Flora-Bama is 10 miles east. We've stayed at the Lighthouse Condominiums for the last 7 years and it's always great!

This is a very large condominium property. In particular to #504. Please try not to stay next to the elevator channel. (There are three, left right and center) The elevator sounds like a pneumatic tube + loud vacuum cleaner. And because of the large number of guests, the elevator is going all day and practically all night. Lucky for me I found soume ear plugs. I read several reviews of this place complaining about the elevator noise and I innocently thought, "how bad could it be? Elevator doors opening a couple times a night...." Wrong. Be warned. On the plus side, unit was well appointed with a grand Gulf View.

The unit was clean, and exactly what we needed. You could hear the elevator going up and down, but it wasn’t overly loud and was not much used during the overnight hours.
