Lovely Condo on 11th Floor with Shared Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, Balcony, Free WiFi

We have stayed in this condo twice and have already booked a third stay. It's just perfect for us (senior couple) with plenty of room for guests and a large balcony for ocean views, outdoor dining, or just relaxing with a book. We like the location of the resort on Fort Morgan and, of course, it being right on the beach. The kitchen and dining area are large enough to cook and entertain company. Dishes, silverware, utensils and pots and pans were great - we didn't feel like we had to bring anything from home. The washer/dryer is a great amenity as we stay for weeks. The place was clean on our arrival and easy to keep clean during our stay. We are looking forward to using more of the resort on our next stay.

Soaring above the pristine, white Alabama beaches, this lovely corner apartment on the 11th floor provides a relaxing and accessible way to enjoy a stay at the coast. You're literally right on the beach, with a raised walkway over the dunes from the building's patio/pool area. It was a relief to find a luggage cart room in the lobby of the building which made it easy to move all our stuff from the vehicle to the apartment.

Our stay at this so-called lovely condo was plagued with poor cleanliness standards, minimal amenities, and outdated furniture. When we arrived, it was almost like the cleaning crew had only swept the condo and called it a day between our stay and the people before us. There was still sand all over the floor, we were allotted maybe 5 towels for 6 guests. The “starter pack” for cleaning contained the world’s smallest bottle of off-brand dish soap. There was no hand soap and the bedding felt like sleeping on an off-brand Kleenex it was so thin and scratchy. The sink disposal backed up and flooded into the dishwasher and floor. The clubhouse with fitness center and pool was not included in the price as it appeared on the listing. Communicating with the owner was a nightmare as we went round-and-round every single day of our stay trying to get a parking pass for the front gate. We didn't get our official pass until the day before we left. Also, be warned about the “food truck” park. It was the most expensive sub-par food we had ever had. The “pulled pork” sandwich that was made in a crock pot and passed off as true smoked barbeque was almost $20 for a sandwich and chips. These people have figured out how to look like a true food truck park but make the world’s most average food and charge about 4x the normal cost to their customers. Also, the cheap condo shower felt like I was going to fall through the ceiling. Please save your money from this place and find a better condo.

Before arriving, I was told that the garbage disposal was broke and I would be refunded $25 for the inconvenience. After arriving and walking into the condo, we found that the sink was filled with nasty smelly water. The dishwasher was broken and full of dirty dishes that had a foul odor. After contacting the Vacasa and sending them pictures, maintenance showed up the next morning and unstop the sink. He flooded the floor and used our bath towels to clean the water up. Messaged Vacasa and told them that we needed at least five more towels and I also explain to them how the condo was very dirty. I was then told that someone would get back to me and no one ever did so every day I contacted someone from Vacasa and every day I was told that someone would contact me to resolve the matter. Well, now I’m home and I still never got a phone call. I still never got those towels and it was never resolved so if you are looking to book this condo through Vacasa I would think again. Also, the condo needs a very good cleaning from the walls to the baseboards. Food was all over the kitchen cabinets. I honestly don’t have anything nice to say.
