Great Duplex with large decks and large shared pool

We decided that we wouldn’t let the issues with this house ruin our stay. But boy do we have some negative feedback. Within minutes, it was apparent that the place wasn’t very clean. Our toddler had black feet from the living room floors within minutes. We bought stuff to mop and mopped, and it just isn't getting it clean. Floors and grout need to be steamed to get grime out. The furniture is worn and matted with grime. The walls are beat up, with flaking paint in several places. Ice maker has mold. The tubs are rough and we didn’t have a way to bathe our toddler because the plumbing fixtures are all broken and there is no way to run a bath. The shades covering this door are about to fall off the wall. No way to raise the shades to keep out of reach of a toddler. The pool has deferred maintenance. We saw a pool guy come. But the bottom of the pool was still slimy. The kitchen needs a deep clean. There was mouse poop in kitchen cabinets. The living room furniture has knobs falling apart all of them. The furniture is mostly busted up and falling apart. We booked for a full week, and the washer went out on Tuesday. Despite several attempts to connect with the local Vacasa team to solve that issue, it took me explaining to the person that I was pretty upset at the lack of communication on a resolution. Leaving us without a washer the last 4-5 days of the trip. My family wasn’t expecting a luxury place. But it was disappointing that the furnishings and cleanliness was lower standards than our own homes. Not what we expected from the pictures. Lastly AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, we wouldn’t book again until the entire decking is fully replaced. The deck railings are wobbly. I could’ve put my body weight behind them and pushed them over. It’s truly a hazard to human life. The steps are wobbly and boards are falling off and flapping. Nails and screws are out all over the deck. The main joists and beams are all split and failing. We were all catching our feet on the nails. Thankfully we only had 1 kid here with our family instead of the 8 we had originally hoped to book both sides for. In summary- this place needs various work and updating. But it also needs a thorough deep clean and the deck fully replaced. The spot is nice. Fort Morgan is a nice area. The pool is a nice feature. If there was only one of these issues, not a big deal. We’re frustrated at how many total issues there are with this place.

We have have stayed in this house for over 20 years and has always been the best value for us , house is starting to show its age and not many improvements but price continues going up and will soon be out of our range and comfort , has some nice amenities and close to the beach

It’s a good family house. Nice kitchen, living room, pool. Back deck needs work.

Love the location and the beach access, also the pool for the price this home has always been what we loved could use some tlc but overall very nice and affordable

Location of house and floor plan was good. However lots of maintenance needed. Also we called as soon as we arrived to report live roaches in the kitchen and in the stand alone ice maker. I was told they would send my ticket to the local company to be handled promptly. Nobody ever replied back or came to fix the problem. I messaged them every day asking for help as we continued to see roaches every day . Nothing was ever done . The last day of our trip, the upstairs air conditioning stop working . It was sooo hot . Again I messaged the company and was told they would open a ticket and it would be addressed. But never heard anything else! So disappointed! We seen 10+ roaches and it was nasty! Will not rent this house nor rent through Vacasa again since they failed to address the issue at all.
