Guests appreciated the spacious, comfortable layout, the ground-floor setup, and the easy parking and unloading that made arrivals and daily outings simple. It also has an outdoor patio and a private washer/dryer. This condo is also equipped with two youth bunk beds, perfect for children. This condo is a short walk from the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico, as well as the indoor hot tubs, sauna, and fitness room at Plantation Dunes. Within a short drive, you will find the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, Gulf State Park, historic Fort Morgan, and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo.

THINGS TO KNOW

Guests will have access to six outdoor pools & two outdoor hot tubs on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds plus one indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna in the Dome Area of Bldg 4. The parking fee for this vacation rental is $35. Instructions for purchasing the required parking pass will be included in your confirmation email. If you do not have your registration forms to present at check in, you will need to contact the Gulf Shores Office to pick them up. The guard shack cannot provide them for you. Only valid service animals will be allowed that are registered/checked-in with security at arrival, but if a service animal is causing an issue such as barking (other than a medical emergency), not on leash and properly controlled, seen as aggressive or approaching others, or defecating in any way in the common grounds areas, they will be evicted. The Palms building hot tub opens September 16 - May 14 and will be closed May 15 - September 15.

Back sliding door didn’t lock for two of the nights I was there(that’s a big problem when you are on the bottom floor with kids), had to call multiple times to get someone out, they assured me we were in a safe area which is absolutely crazy. Garbage disposal in sink doesn’t work at all so sink was stopped up. Mattresses are very uncomfortable and the bed in the master room is not a queen size as advertised. Ceiling fan in master makes a racket if it’s going. Blinds were broken in master. Shower head didn’t work right so water pressure wasn’t great. Main pool was closed most of my stay. Tennis court right in the middle of the complex was also messed up with caution tape around it. Comforter in master is just an empty duvet cover and no extra blankets were in the room other than the ones for the pull out couch. Living room furniture also needs updating, one of the chairs were broken.

The Bathtub did not work. The stopper doesn’t hold water and the shower dripped even if the stopper did work. There’s only a coffee pot and no keurig. I had to go buy coffee and filters bc I wouldn’t have thought in 2026 that a condo wouldn’t have a keurig. The fan above the bed makes some clicking noise all night long to the point I had to turn on a noise maker on my phone to cover up the sound so I could sleep. If these things were fixed it wouldn’t be a bad place to stay. The location is great

The condo was not as clean as I expected, there was evidence that no sweeping had been done. Also there was a rocking chair with the seat broken out, which we did not know until my child sat on it. Definitely a hazard. The lock on the sliding door was broken, and the only security was a twisted piece of metal to stop the door. Not satisfactory for securing ourselves at night. Otherwise a pleasant stay.
