Seaside Retreat at Solimar Sands: Your Perfect Beach Escape

Just eighty-five steps from the beach, Seaside Retreat at Solimar Sands is a charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo located near "the world's safest beach." Enjoy serene views of the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Mountains from the balcony. This location is ideal for a "park your car and leave it" beach getaway, with easy access to the beach right across the street through a small parking lot. The beach features bathroom facilities and outdoor showers for your convenience. The condo comfortably sleeps 4 in beds two in the queen sleeper sofa.

Condo Amenities

The complex offers two pools, a hot tub, and two poolside bathrooms with shower stalls. You'll have gated parking for one car. Downtown Carpinteria, with its restaurants and stores, is within walking distance—most are less than a mile away, and many are within half a mile.

Living Areas

The living room features lovely wood-style flooring, a cozy queen sleeper sofa, and two comfortable swivel leather chairs. Unwind with a movie on the flat-screen TV or step out onto the balcony to enjoy the ocean breeze and sunset colors while sipping your favorite drink.

Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen is fully equipped with full-size appliances, a blender, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, and microwave. The dining table seats four, making it perfect for family meals and creating lifelong memories.

Bedrooms & Baths

The second-floor master bedroom has a King bed, flat-screen TV, and a walk-in closet. Let the soothing sounds of the surf lull you to sleep. The adjacent guest bedroom has two twin beds. The upstairs bathroom features two sinks and a remodeled glass and tile walk-in shower. A second bathroom with a shower is located downstairs. A queen sleeper sofa is available to accommodate 1-2 additional guests.

Outdoor Activities

The balcony offers stunning ocean and mountain views, equipped with two chairs and and ocean breeze. The sand closet by the front door contains four beach chairs, a beach umbrella (with a small shovel), and two boogie boards. The nearby Carpinteria Beach is perfect for a full day of fun, with bathroom facilities and outdoor showers available. In the summer, you can rent kayaks and surfboards from a pop-up shop at Sandyland and Ash.

Next to the condo is Marsh Park, a 230-acre estuary with a 1.2-mile round-trip hike on accessible graded trails. You'll encounter butterflies, seabirds, and more. Take a moment to sit and observe with a camera or binoculars—there's plenty of life to see if you slow down.

For more adventure, hike the trail to the Carpinteria Bluffs or enjoy a family picnic at the park on Linden and Sandyland, complete with picnic tables and BBQs. The nearby Amtrak station offers easy round-trip tickets for a day trip to Santa Barbara, where you can explore downtown and see the largest magnolia tree in North America at the Santa Barbara Amtrak station. Rincon Beach Park, a short 3.7-mile drive away, is renowned for its surfing spots and scenic beauty, perfect for watching driftwood and daredevils on parachutes.

Getting Here:

We are excited to announce Southwest Airlines has daily direct flights from Sacrament to Santa Barbara starting June 5th, 2022. You can Uber from the airport to Carpinteria. Once you are in Carpinteria a car is not needed. Almost everything you need is within walking distance and you can have your groceries delivered with popular delivery apps available online.
