True and complete oceanfront condo with a lanai (balcony) that almost hangs over the beach. See the ponds below where the turtle and the eels want to come and feed. Let the sounds of the sea make you sleep after a day of sightseeing or relaxation. Both the bedroom and living room face the sea, where you can see dolphins all year round and whales in season.

Hale Kona Kai is an intimate, absolute oceanfront complex of 39 one-bedroom condominiums. Located at the edge of Kona Town, it is off the main road providing for quiet, ocean-view relaxation from every unit. Located just south of Royal Kona Resort, excellent dining at Don the Beachcomber and other restaurants are a bit further into Kona Town. You will find the white sand of Honl's Beach less than a quarter-mile to the south and the Kona Farmer's Market just a half-mile to the north.

The complex offers an elevator that provides convenient access for all. On the ocean side, you'll find a heated saltwater swimming pool and a grill on the south end of the complex. Each floor has coin-operated washers and dryers for your use. Each condo does not have its own washer/dryer.

Each unit includes designated parking, safe WIFI, & cable TV. Both units, like Lanais, are non-smoking and Hale Kona Kai is non-smoking.

We were very happy about coming back to Hale Kona Kai. We have stayed here many times, in 402 particularly now twice in a row. When we enter the unit the cleanliness is as expected. All the things we needed were available in the kitchen including a good knife to prepare meals. Towels, wash cloths, paper products etc. were all available as expected. If I could change anything, I would replace the non-stick fry pans with new ones. Enjoyed the pool and the surrounding area. Keep up on the maintenance, which I see is constantly being done. We definitely feel "at home" here and pray that we can come back again.

If you want to be right on the ocean, walkable distance to good eats and shopping, and in a quiet, clean and comfortable condo.....this is it! We stayed here for week to celebrate a special anniversary and were pleased all the way around. Unit 402 has been updated and met out expectations. Would stay here again.

We were really looking forward to a great vacation in Hawai'i and were not disappointed. Our condo at Hale Kona Kai was the perfect spot for relaxing and a great location. Worry free parking and walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. Centrally located for trips to the south and north. The condo had everything we needed for a home away from home. I especially appreciated the Hawai'i Revealed guide book, beach chairs and umbrella! The lanai right above the ocean can't be beat. Fish, turtles and whales right from the comfort of our home away from home. Would LOVE to come back again. Anyone willing to sponsor us?! ; )
