Bright and Cozy Escape - The Hamlets

It's a nice howe good value. Im a VRBO owner as well. I would have let my guests late check out in a situation where they are sick. The property was advertised as 15 min away from the convention center however it's 25 min even without traffic. I also wouldn't rent a property with the pool light floating in the water. It made everyone wary of even sticking a toe in.

The house could be a little cleaner don't bring more then two cars. overall nice place good location

I love the location. Plenty of shops and close to all the attractions. Great home. Everything was exactly as it should have been. Each year I’ve been coming to Kissimmee and I think this year topped all the others. Definitely will be returning again next year .

Peaceful quiet area

We loved the place! Super cute home and plenty big for the whole family. The reason it didnt earn 5 stars from us is because the photos make the driveway and pool appear a lot bigger than they actually are. You can only fit 1 car in the driveway and the garage is small so only compact cars fit. We had 2 suvs for this trip so we would park in the garage but it was a tight fit and we just couldn't shut the garage (but since it's a gated neighborhood, we weren't too worried about that so we made it work!) They said they had 2 parking passes available so you could park in the street but they were missing upon arrival and when I texted them immediately upon arriving to let them know, they stated they'd get with me to resolve the issue but never did follow up. We just had to move the cars around anytime someone wanted to leave which was quite annoying but we had no choice so we didn't get towed. The house was lovely though. It could just use a little updating! The carpets are a little old and dingy and the sheets on the master bed were too small for it. It came off the mattress at some point as we slept and it was really hard for me to get it back on but we made it work. Looked like there were other sheets in the closet but we just didn't feel like changing them out. There was a sign said "if possible wash and dry towels" thankfully I knew to bring my own stuff like dishwasher pods and dish soap for pots and pans and laundry detergent. They have a starter kit for kitchen but no detergent for laundry. It would have been nice to have blackout curtains in the bedrooms but not a deal breaker. The photos are outdated on the listing but the place looks pretty much the same. The table and chairs outside could use updating. The cushions are extremely worn and dirty and the table had burn marks (probably why smoking is not allowed on the property). The outside fan didn't work and the screen around the pool is worn and needs replaced. There are holes in it and there are no loungers available, just regular chairs out back. We had to buy a cheese grater but had most things needed to cook!
