This home was a perfect fit for our family of 5 for a weekend getaway. The location was great, close enough to explore the city and secluded for the quiet times sitting out on the beach. We would love to stay again.

While we did enjoy the location and the beautiful lake lot view, our stay unfortunately had several issues that impacted our overall experience. During our visit, a man entered the property without any prior notification to clean and check the hot tub. He did not knock or explain why he was there, which made us feel very uncomfortable. Guest privacy should be a top priority and should not be ignored. We expect advance notice and clear communication whenever anyone needs to access the property during a guest’s stay. The host’s response to this incident was not satisfactory and did not adequately address our concerns. In addition, the kitchen cookware was very limited, and the kids’ bedroom did not have a heater, which was an issue during cooler nights. Aside from these issues, we truly liked the location and the lake view, but improvements in communication, privacy, and amenities are needed to provide a better guest experience.
