Our group of seven stayed here for a week, and unfortunately the experience did not fully match the listing description. The listing stated that there was a laundry machine, which was one of the reasons we booked this property for a longer stay. However, there was no washer/dryer on site, and we had to spend hours at a laundromat during our trip. When we brought this up to the owner, they claimed the mistake was Vrbo’s fault, but since it’s their listing, it really should be accurate and updated. The dishwasher was also not usable — the latch was broken, so it wouldn’t hold soap, and it was dirty with old food left inside. In addition, when we arrived, there were crumbs throughout the living room, which suggested that the cleaning before our arrival wasn’t very thorough. The cabin itself had potential, but these issues made our stay less convenient and comfortable than expected. Future guests should be aware of these shortcomings until they’re resolved.
The home was very cozy! Close to the town and Rocky Mountain National Park
Charming home with sweet decor touches. Amazing Views. Great neighbors on the east side. Fun wildlife. Elk were on the property often and the hummingbirds were a constant source of entertainment. Plentiful options for eating out with many in walking distance. Quite honestly we couldn't have asked for a more perfect time.
Fantastic location. Fantastic views of the mountain. Great home with an old school cabin feel and decor. We brought two grandbabies with us and it is a Kid-Friendly. All the amenities that you would need are here. Plenty of room to spread out between all the porches. Both indoor and out door. Would have been nice to have a washer and dryer, but no biggie as there is a laundromat in town.
This home allowed me and my siblings ample sleeping, eating and relaxing space. The only thing we needed to be careful of was the gas stove in the kitchen. The knobs turned quite easily (by accident}. We solved that problem by putting one of our coolers in front of the stove so that we wouldn't accidentally lean against the stove and turn the gas on when we would be gathered in the kitchen, just yakking. We all loved the sunroom and the patio. We played games and did some sightseeing. Such a beautiful location.
Loved our stay here! Adorable home with plenty of room to spread out. Loved the little touches like binoculars, hummingbird feeder, logs for the fire, fans and heaters, well stocked kitchen, etc. Very cozy home with a phenomenal view!!!
