The comfy vibe for the perfect mountain city retreat!
I liked the location. The house is older but that was not an issue for us. The A/c wasn’t working and the only ceiling fan wasn’t working properly at first. Shower curtain was ripped. These could be easily fixed though and it’d be a much better place to stay.
There are multiple safety repairs that have been ignored. The electrical outlets in the bathroom and kitchen did not work. The shower water went from scalding hot to cold. The kitchen needs to be restocked with properly working pots and lids. Everything was falling apart and broken. The oven door handle was broken and I couldn't use oven. I burned my hand by broken oven handle and hot metal ell on me. After 2 night's stay, my husband and I took ill, I checked for probable mold, there were a couple of white spots in bedroom ceiling painted over, to raise suspicious coverage. Because of these issues in kitchen, we had to throw out food that wasn't able to cook and incurred additional costs to eat out. The only positive aspect of this property was the location. Vacasa, the host was unresponsive to these issues when reported. I was outsourced to a foreign country and no one followed up.
Within walking distance of wonderful shops and restaurants, so we didn't have to worry about where to park.
Walking distance to town but you are right above a brewery, which we liked but a bit noisy at night. The house needs some updating and general maintenance around the house. Most the time when we stay at a short term rental houses it will have your basic kitchen items, so cooking at home is a breeze.
