Great location in town! Loved the wildlife that came by to visit!! Does need some upgrades to the home but over all had a pleasant stay!
Perfect location and plenty of space for our whole group. Loved the retro decor! Morning coffee on the porch watching wildlife and enjoying the view, cozy nights playing boardgames and watching tv by the fireplace. We came prepared with our own coffee grinder. Can't wait to visit again!
A great place to stay close to town! Worked good for our family of 8. Everything was đź’Ż!
I love the Hummingbird hideout and have stayed there 3 times. It is an older home that has a cool cabin look. It is also in a great location within walking distance of the visitor center, Lake Estes, the golf course, and town. It could use some basic maintenance and a good power washing but I would happily stay again.
Loved the room plenty of beds, but could use updating
Six of you who were traveling together all loved this place for 5 nights. It is well-loved and a bit dated (think Grandma's house . . . because I think it is) and also clean and well-maintained. Cozy and comfortable. We had real concerns about cooking utinsils for making large meals in the kitchen, because the support staff who communicated with us prior to the stay said there was only one medium pot in the kitche. FACT: The kitchen is well stocked with plentiful cooking pots, frying pans, casserole dishes and sheet pans. We communicated this to the support staff who said they will note the information in the file. Hopefully noone else will feel they have to purchase a set of cookware of their own (as we did) . . . but we'll donate the set where it is needed. We had a sticky doorknob on the downstairs bathroom, a lamp went out while we were there (there were plentiful lamps), and one of the floor fans was not working (there were numerous fans). All were reported and hopefully addressed following our checkout. Support staff were always available to chat with us by text and offered to come out to repair immediately; we did not require that. You can confidently plan to stay here at Hummingbird Hideaway in Estes Park for a reasonable cost and comfortable enjoyable accommodations. We loved our stay! Thank you, Hummingbird Hideaway owners for the beautiful accommodation.
