The views of Hayden Lake were spectacular.
We came out for the week leading up to Labor Day and the house did not disappoint, its in a great spot not having to drive around the lake, quick easy access to town, fishing right off the dock which was big and had room for both boats we had with us. Some of the kids were starting online school and there was always quite space for them. Loved the house and will come back.
If you love them in the kitchen. They will be there. Not pleased with the lack of cleaning. Whoever stayed there before us got screwed on the cleaning fee they had to pay. Very disappointed in the lack of cleaning. My daughter stepped on an earring backing as soon as we walked in. I looked under the beds to make sure we didn’t kick anything underneath. There were enough dust bunnies to knit my family each an ugly sweater. If you wanted to bake a cake and decorate it great. It had everything for that. But I had to buy grilling utensils to use for the grill. None were furnished. I had to buy two pans just to cook food in because the pans furnished were not properly prepared. They were cast iron. The irony was I had to buy my own toilet paper because none was furnished. Didn’t expect that to happen for a place I rented. View was nice and relaxing but over priced for what we had to purchase and the ants still a turn off. Also the a/c went down on one of the hottest days of the year. They at least fixed it in the same day. I hope whoever stays after us gets a better cleaning than we did. Vacasa seems over priced. I have used home away and vrbo and going properties more clean than this property and the fees were a bit high. Look elsewhere
The view and the surroundings were so beautiful and the sound of the water was so relaxing.
We were two families on a road trip from California and this was our last shared spot together before we went our separate ways. The house is amazing. The master bedroom was the most well appointed, the other rooms downstairs felt a bit neglected. One of the bedrooms did not have available reading lights (none of the sockets worked) and the vent was right above the bed so when the thermostat kicked on, it was really loud above your head. The other bedroom's bed was like a taco, the boxspring was broken in the middle and we noticed on the day we were leaving that one of the slats on the bed had fallen off and had not been replaced. The bunk beds were great for a bunch of kids but very squeaky. The kitchen was well stocked with great Le Crueset cookware. It was a nice shared living area so both our families could hang out together. The dock was Awesome!!! Wish the weather had been better during our stay. We are long time VRBO renters (20 years)and were not very happy with all the additional fees that we noticed much later. Our bad for not noticing sooner, but we were in a rush to book a place before our arrival have never in our experience been slapped with so many additional fees and taxes. Meaning, the per night charge when you're shopping for a suitable home to rent is not accurate. We ended up paying more than $600 of fees extra for a 3 night stay, which is a more than $200 per night charge. Just pay attention to that. The on-site manager was very helpful when we had questions about parking our two oversized vehicles by the house.
The house was immaculate, great space for family and friends, the views were amazing, and Vacasa was very informative. I highly recommend this property to friends and family
