Each year, hundreds of bald eagles gather along Lake Coeur d'Alene and the nearby Coeur d'Alene River, making this one of the premier eagle viewing destinations in the Pacific Northwest. From late December through February, you'll have the opportunity to witness these incredible birds soaring overhead and fishing in the open water, creating an unforgettable experience right from the private deck of the home. Winter Access Information Please note that this home is located in a beautiful mountain setting, and winter access requires planning. After leaving Highway 97, the home is approximately 1/2 mile up a narrow dirt road and can become challenging during winter weather. When snowfall exceeds approximately 6 inches, a capable four-wheel drive vehicle with good ground clearance is strongly recommended. Two-wheel drive vehicles, low-clearance vehicles, and all-wheel drive passenger cars may not be able to safely access the property in these conditions. Because mountain weather can change quickly, we want you to book with confidence. If the forecast or actual conditions indicate 6 inches or more of snow that would make access unsafe, we will gladly provide a 100% refund if you choose to cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival. If you have any questions about road conditions before your trip, please reach out. We're happy to provide the latest information to help you plan your stay. This is the right cabin for a couple or small group who want a genuine North Idaho forest escape — lake views from the deck, a stone fire pit for the evenings, a fireplace for the nights, and the small-town charm of Harrison just a few minutes down the road whenever you want it.

Easy and stress-free arrival instructions will be provided 24 hours in advance, including simple keyless entry instructions for the front door.

Loved the cabin. The view was breathtaking!

Loved the views and the outdoor areas look but bbq was put away - corn hole games also put away - property mgr came by with his dog who tried to enter the house - my dog was super not happy about a strange dog trying to come inside. Same thing when property mgr came by to say there was only 3000 gallons left in the well for the neighborhood - never got anything resolved on that either

My daughter and I came to CDA for our beginning of the summer vacation getaway. This place did not disappoint, even for a nine-year-old. I was impressed that the place had everything that you need from spices to plastic bags for food prep, silverware, cooking utensils Everything. I naturally bring all that stuff with me in these situations anyways however the host had already supplied. Tons of towels, great views, amazing, lighting, easy Wi-Fi TV streaming and super clean. We will be back!

We booked this place for a little anniversary get- away. The house is nice and had a pretty view of the lake. Our only complaint and this is probably on us for not researching enough, the property is farther away from town than we realized and there are no services out in that area. We did some nice hikes and had a relaxing time there. I would recommend this home.
