The multi-level layout means everyone can gather in the living areas or retreat for quiet time without anyone feeling cramped or overlooked. THE KITCHEN & DINING This is a real kitchen, not a kitchenette. You'll find a full suite of appliances and counter space for meal prep. The dining area sits adjacent to a coffee bar with ice maker—perfect for family breakfasts or entertaining larger groups. A dishwasher, full refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, and microwave handle everything from simple weeknight dinners to holiday feasts. Dining table seats the crew; board games and cards let the fun continue after the meal. THE GATHERING SPACES The living room is genuinely comfortable for groups—plenty of seating, a TV for rainy afternoons, and a window onto the neighborhood life outside. Free parking on premises and complimentary street parking mean no stress about vehicle logistics. OUTDOOR LIVING A beautifully landscaped backyard patio with a fire table is equally suited to slow mornings with coffee and late evenings gathering under the stars. A furnished deck includes a gas grill for summer barbecues. The front porch—a classic feature of historic homes—is ideal for morning coffee, people-watching, or casual gathering with your group. THE NEIGHBORHOOD & NEARBY ATTRACTIONS You're directly across from McEuen Park—22 acres with a splash pad and open play areas in summer, an ice skating rink in winter, the Fort Sherman playground, and the Tubbs Hill trailhead just beyond. The Museum of North Idaho sits literally next door—a rainy-day option that kids and adults alike genuinely enjoy. Five minutes on foot gets you to Sherman Ave's restaurants, cafés, and boutiques—the heart of downtown CDA. A ten-minute walk takes you to the City Beach boardwalk and the Coeur d'Alene Resort marina. Everything your group is likely to want to do or eat is within walking distance. WHAT MAKES THIS HOME SPECIAL This is the property for families and friend groups who want to be in the absolute heart of Coeur d'Alene with everything walkable and no need to coordinate drivers for every activity. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, gathering for the holidays, or simply reconnecting as a group, the thoughtful updates to a charming 1920s home provide genuine comfort without sacrificing character. The well-stocked kitchen, spacious gathering areas, and proximity to local attractions make it easy to cook together, play together, and explore together. PRACTICAL DETAILS Three full bathrooms serve the five bedrooms. Washer and dryer on site let you pack for the adventure without laundry prep. Air conditioning, heating, and WiFi throughout ensure comfort in any season. Bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, dishes and silverware, and cooking basics are provided. Board games, coffee, and wine glasses are on hand for those first nights or rainy afternoons. All four seasons work here. Summer means walks to downtown and sidewalk cafés. Fall brings crisp mornings on the porch. Winter offers the ice skating rink across the street. Spring opens the trail system and park playgrounds. GOOD TO KNOW Historic homes charm with character—steep stairs, narrow passages, and low clearances may be a consideration for guests with tall travelers or mobility concerns. Street-facing location means daytime activity noise typical of downtown areas; evenings are noticeably quieter.
Easy and stress-free arrival instructions will be provided 24 hours in advance, including simple keyless entry instructions for the front door.

Great beds, beautiful yard
The host was awesome and prompt in communication. The house looks amazing and is close to our office. I will be looking to rent this for future events.
We saw dear every morning and evening. The house was in a great location. Could walk to hike and in to the downtown area. The only issue was 3 bedroom upstairs but only 1 bathroom…. The 3rd bath was off the kitchen on main floor. We got there about 20 minutes early (housekeeping was gone) and asked to check in and was denied. Little inconvenience as we would have like to just unload our luggage. Kitchen was well stocked.
This home was perfect for myself and 8 family members. We were able to walk to the resort, Sherman Street and hike Tubbs Hill. There is a lovely park near the house. We enjoyed our stay.
Amazing location! It is walking distance to lake, downtown, Tubbs Hill, bike trail, playgound. The bonus room with private bunks was perfect for the kids. What a fun set up! We would definitely stay here again.
