Grizzly Manor, Sleep 18, Amazing Mtn Views, Hot Tub

My family and I stayed at Grizzly Manor in the Smoky Mountains, managed by Casago Vacation Rentals, and unfortunately this was one of the most stressful vacation rental experiences I have had. From the beginning of our stay, I reported multiple problems with the property. During heavy rain, water came into the cabin, and some of our personal belongings got wet, including my iPad, which suffered water damage. I have photos, videos, messages, and other documentation showing the issues I reported during the stay. There were also several other problems: missing TV remotes, an upstairs bedroom door that would not properly close for privacy, mold in the coffee pot, cigarette butts and an unpleasant smell around the property, and issues with the hot tub. For a five-day stay, we were also provided with very limited supplies. What made the situation even more frustrating was having to spend so much of my vacation communicating back and forth about these problems instead of enjoying time with my children. I was even contacted late at night regarding the issues. I repeatedly communicated my concerns while we were still at the cabin, so these were not complaints that were suddenly made after checkout. Their own maintenance team later acknowledged that water could enter around the large windows during heavy rainfall and that further assessment was needed. After everything we experienced, I requested a full refund. Instead, I was offered only $265.11, which I did not feel came close to addressing the condition of the property, the damage to my belongings, and the disruption to our vacation. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this property thoroughly read reviews, document the condition of the cabin immediately upon arrival, and communicate any problems in writing. Based on my personal experience, I would not stay at Grizzly Manor again, and I would not recommend this property to my family or friends. A family vacation should be relaxing — not spent dealing with property problems, water intrusion, damaged belongings, and repeated complaints just to have basic concerns addressed.

This cabin was perfect for our big family vacation. The views are AMAZING!! With 4 different families, everyone had plenty of room and places to relax and sleep. The kids and adults LOVED the game room. It had plenty for everyone to enjoy without leaving the cabin. It is in a great location with an easy drive...maybe 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge. We were able to fit 5 cars in the driveway but it is a tight fit.

Great stay. Beautiful scenery and our family was very comfortable. Lots of space. Nice and cozy.

Cannot wait to book this home for every trip back down to the Smokey Mountains.
