Like most of the other reviews we assumed we could make it up the drive way (we did), as we are local here. However, we ended up parking at the slop at the bottom not near the house and walking up after we unloaded our stuff. We enjoyed the hot tub. The upstairs bed was very comfortable, and the location other than the drive way was good for us.

All round the cabin was nice for 5 of us 3 being teenagers! We had a great time! Also the driveway is very steep beware!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay — the cabin itself is very pretty and cozy, and the surrounding area is peaceful. It’s clear the owners have put thought into creating a comfortable getaway spot. That said, there were a few downsides worth mentioning. The roads in and out of the property are very steep and were heavily covered with leaves, which made driving a bit challenging, especially in the rain. I’d suggest having the driveway and access roads leaf-blown regularly for safer and easier access. A few maintenance and cleanliness issues stood out as well: the upstairs carpet is in need of a deep clean — it felt unpleasant to walk on and left our socks dirty. The dishwasher had a strong odor when opened, and overall, the cabin could benefit from a more thorough cleaning between guests. It was also disappointing that there was no complimentary coffee provided, especially since the welcome board encourages guests to “enjoy coffee on the deck at sunrise.” The Wi-Fi was also spotty at times, which made it difficult to stay connected on our phones. Lastly, while the setting is pretty, there isn’t much of a mountain view, which might be something to note for guests looking for that classic cabin vista. With a few improvements in maintenance, cleanliness, and guest touches, this cabin could easily be a five-star stay.

The road was a concern based on what others wrote. We had a Subaru crosstrek awd. And made it fine there is a 60 foot part of road that is washed out with deep holes and crevices, still just go slowly and it’ll be fine. The cabin is worth the drive, nice hot tub. We used gas grill as well. Comfortable home. Wi-Fi and TV were fine as well. Loved the area, very quiet.
