Proximity to the beach is great! Rockaway Beach Town is quieter than larger coastal towns. A few restaurants etc. I enjoyed a long walk on the wide, wide, beach!
Affordable, clean, super safe feeling, and steps away from the beach! What more could you want?
Convenient, 1/2 block to the beach, easy walking distance to coffee and food, 1/2 block to the highway to cruise to the other beaches in the area.
Our vacation at Rockaway Beach was enjoyable, although our stay at the Sea Treasure Inn left much to be desired. The staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly, but the overall experience was disappointing. The accommodation did not resemble a typical motel or hotel, and it lacked clear classification. There was no office or clerks to assist guests, and without the housekeeper and repairman, we would have been lost. Initially, we struggled to unlock the door and had to seek help from another guest. The online instructions were inadequate, and each time we left or returned, we had to use an 8-digit combination to lock and unlock the door. Upon entering, the TV displayed a blue screen, and there were dirty spots on the floor. The room did not resemble the pictures online, which portrayed it as new and attractive. After unpacking, we tried to turn on the TV and cable box, but neither worked. We could access the Wi-Fi, but it was extremely slow. A housekeeper helped us contact the supervisor, who in turn reached out to the repairman an hour away. Since it was late, we agreed to wait until the next morning for repairs. The repairman arrived but couldn't fix the issues, and we had to get a new TV and cable box. Even then, the TV buffered constantly, making it unwatchable, so we resorted to using my laptop for entertainment. The queen-sized bed was terrible, sinking in the middle. It felt like it was stuffed with paper and was very noisy, making so much noise that I worried about disturbing the neighbors or my partner. The kitchen area was equipped with a small coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator, but we had to constantly unplug one appliance to use another since there were only two outlets. The coffee maker was a single-cup model, but the provided coffee bags were meant for a full pot, rendering them useless. Consequently, we had to go without coffee. Overall, while the beautiful surroundings of Rockaway Beach were delightful, the accommodation experience at Sea Treasure Inn left much to be desired.
The location was good. The rest was iffy.
We had everything we needed at Sea Treasures Inn for a delightful weekend. The room was clean and comfortable A block to the entrance to the beautiful beach. Immediate response when we called guest services. Lots of towels. Good size refrigerator. We had 3 chihuahuas with us, and the pricing allowed us to afford an absolutely lovely weekend. Good food nearby. We are home and still smiling! Thank you!
