Dog Friendly Triplex 3 private apartments Easy Walk to the Beach and Town

My family and 2 other families stayed at this place. We walked into filth. It’s like the cleaning crew came in made the beds with the same bed sheets and comforter and walked out. Dolphin 1 the dishwasher was full of dirty food caked dishes. Sand all over the floor. Pubic hair on the bathroom wall. All the beds had sand in the sheets along with human and pet hair on the comforters. The fridge was all rusted floors scratched and the dinning room table had a film on it. The microwave wouldn’t work when u wanted it to however would turn on and run on its own.the couches had fares in the seams. And behind the dresser there were old qtips filled with wax from previous guest. The outside of the rentals looked dirty. For the amount of money people pay to stay this place should be clean and updated. Dolphin 2 the entrance going up the stairs looked very dirty. The knob to the bedroom door fell off when we opened. The main bedroom in the closet had old crusted dog crap on the floor not to mention the other closet having a wad of paper towels in it like a mess was cleaned up of urine. They also found in the stack of what was supposed to be clean towels and out the fifth towel in a wad of someone’s hair. They also had dirty sheets and blankets. Dolphin 3 asp dirty bedding sets rusted fridge. And smelt of mildew horrifically. Complete health hazard. The television didn’t work in dolphin 3 and the WiFi didn’t work the entire time we stayed. We reported the issues only to get the main response of I’m sorry for the inconvenience we will add this to ur ticket. The manager called us once sent out a cleaner only to have her drop off a few dishwasher tablets and garbage sacks but never even cleaned the rentals. We had asked her to just do a good cleaning of the place(this was never done) we all felt so dirty. The hot water is not fixed u we’re lucky to get a full 5-10 min of hot water. Water went in and out of hot and cold. The toilet I. Dolphin 2 would not always flush! We were so disappointed if we were not 8 hours from home and 2500$ owed to this place we would’ve gone back home. The dumpster to put garbage in was stacked full upon our arrival and we were staying ther 5 days! They refunded the cleaning fee thinking that was a substantial amount for the amount of filth we had to stay in. All the amount was,was an insult. We had to Val several different times to a few different managers to finally get what we thought was a reasonable refund. The manager was actually gettin upset with me until I asked her why she was the one upset I am the one that has the right to be upset with the lack of cleanliness and lack of care of the staff. I would not recommend staying here definitely not anywhere close to the cleaning standards the Vacasa states they hold there rentals to.

Big family get together, had a nice time. Good place for the price.

Our bunch really loved the location. It’s central in Rockaway. The store for groceries or any other little items is a 30 second walk across the street. I do feel the rental was a little overpriced for the condition and amenities but our whole experience was pleasant and we have really great access to the beach in either direction from the house! Would definitely rent again but would love to see the price come down! I’d also like to include I personally think checkout is too early. I didn’t even get the full 48 hours out of the rental because of that. And check in is at 4 without the option to check in early. I understand turnover time needed but it shouldn’t be at my expense! Everything else was great though! Our group made sure the units were cleaned up before we left too so it wouldn’t be too hard to cleanup since the cleaning lady was super cool! Overall it was a really good experience.

3 units, unit 1 had the breaker box and hot water heater for the other two units. Less than half of us were able to take a hit shower. You couldn't run the heater and microwave in unit two without popping a breaker. No notice given. There were things found like a sock and a flip flop from past guest. Wifi didn't work for unit 3, unit 2 TV didn't work. Unit two toilet didn't flush half the time. Parking was a total mess. One spot in front allowed for three units. Good luck getting it because of the other four units on the same lot. Unit one roof leaked in the entrance. Like two hangers per unit. Outlets were few and far between. The sheetrock in some of the rooms looked like my little kids did it. If this had been my first vacasa it would of been my last. I am for sure looking and researching all future bookings. The support bars fell out of the bunk beds a night. Unit one main bed was so uncomfortable my sister slept on the couch.

I loved the spaces for each of our family members. However the three cabins, which have a lot of potential for being wonderful, are in need of a lot of repairs and work. And the updating that has been done does not look like a professional did the work. They did seem pretty clean when we arrived, although we found some things that didn’t belong to us in a couple places. Overall, the location is great and the spaces, though small, work well for a big family gathering. I wish I could see these places truly updated and to their full potential!!

The Dolphin cabins are clustered so nicely together, our families were able to access each others facilities at will. It was great to truly feel like one big family as we gathered to celebrate our brother's life.
