I asked to extend my trip for one night and they charged me what 3 nights would cost. I asked the lady, so how much to extend a day? and she immediately says 177$. Which is fair. Then like seconds later she says sorry our dynamic pricing system says to charge you 360$ for an extra night. I didnt even stay they extra night. I went home. So They just stole a bunch of money from me. Because their ai thought i needed to stay an extra night because of some kind of emergency so it could charge what it wanted. Do not use vacas unless you have to. It pool of rich people and slumlords who built a website bought an ai to set prices and make decisions and hired an indian call center. The only Americans that work there are maids.
We had a great time . The property could use a little updating, it's oder, but has charm and was clean. It was close to everything, shops , the beach and the train.over all, not a bad place to stay!
The cost was perfect for our honeymoon budget and was so close to the beach! I was in heaven and didn’t want to leave!!
Close to many stores and beach.
Our power went out on the second night. We contacted Vacasa and they said they would get ahold of the management team. Power went out around 6pm and the maintenance guy showed up around 9:30 close to 10pm. He wasn't able to get to the breaker and was only able to get one of the living room light/ lamp to work. No power in the bathroom, kitchen or rooms. When we checked out the next morning we still had no power. We called vacasa to talk about some type of refund/discount and it felt like they kept brushing us off even though we explained we went almost 15 hours of no power in a vacation rental. We had just started cooking dinner when the power went and had to spend $60 at a local restaurant for dinner for our kids after waiting almost 3 hours just to realize they weren't going to do anything to help us. This was the first vacation my family took in awhile and the first time we booked with vacasa, this will probably be the last time we book this property. We enjoyed the rental itself but this property management team and their customer service sucks.
Vacasa is great! Will not stay at this unit in the future.
