Lovely stay as usual. More wildlife on the beach than I've ever seen before. Watch out for beach coyotes!
First of all, the views are spectacular. However, there is much room for improvement in and around the property. *The parking spot is confusing. Additionally, if the car in the adjoining space parks too close, it is very difficult to navigate in and out of its space. *It isn’t 34 steps, it’s 41. That’s substantial during a five-night stay. *The TV is ridiculously small and outdated. *The lighting in the mail area is completely inadequate. *The sheets were awful. The first set had so many pillings that they felt like sandpaper. We found another set that was not as bad. Very uncomfortable to try and sleep.
Very nice. Everything we needed for a short get away .
The unit was much larger than expected - the high ceilings made the unit feel much more expansive. The views were amazing as is the front balcony. We made good use of the washer dryer, dishwasher, master bath, and it was great to stream whatever we wanted on the TV. Steps to the beach! It was a really nice property and we would glady return!
We loved the view down to the Ocean, it was probably the best part, although someone needs to come up and do something with the film on the windows, that somewhat hampered the experience. Finally the 36 steps up to the property are not fun, we will not stay there again for that reason.
We loved our stay here. Everything was clean, the view of the ocean is amazing from the living room, the balcony is great, the windows open to the ocean and you are literal steps to what seems like your own private beach! Rockaway Beach is not busy, and a great home-base to explore the coast from. The only issue we had was that the deadbolt was tricky to use to get into the unit--we struggled every time! Once they replace it it'll be a 10/10 perfect vacation rental.
