Our stay at this beach house was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with how impeccably clean and well-maintained the entire property was. The real highlight, though, was the backyard, it felt like a private oasis. Surrounded by lush, towering trees, it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The birdwatching was incredible; we saw a variety of species, and it was a peaceful reminder of the beauty of nature. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was the sound of the ocean. At night, we could hear the soothing waves from our bedroom, which made falling asleep feel even more relaxing. The beach was just a short walk away, easy, quick, and enjoyable. Whether we were taking a stroll during the day or watching the sunset, it was always a highlight of our trip. Rockaway itself is such a charming, idyllic town. It's quiet, picturesque, and has a laid-back vibe that made us feel right at home. There are plenty of great places to eat and explore, but the real magic is just soaking in the peace and beauty of the area. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our next visit. Herb’s Hideaway is a gem of a house on a quiet street. The home is very cozy and has everything you need for a relaxing stay, but the real star is the large and beautiful back yard. It’s as lovely as it looks in the pictures and is such a wonderful find in town. We hope to come back in the future.
