The house is bigger than expected. Pretty nice and cozy, has everything needed for a decent vacation. Could use a bit more thorough cleaning but overall it wasn’t so bad. A good option of games and puzzles for kids to play with. Camping chairs are a huge plus. And our kids loved an actual wood fireplace.

Lovely house with a great view of the ocean from the hot tub. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen and lots of blankets, towels, and pillows. Would definitely stay here again.

We visited Rockaway for the first time and are already planning to return at least once a year. This home is absolutely charming—with a delightful “rumpus room” that our kids adored. It was filled with beach toys and a variety of fun activities generously provided for guests. The wraparound porch made it so easy to enjoy both lake and ocean views—an ideal layout for soaking up the surroundings. We also loved the hot tub, which offered a relaxing spot on the ocean-facing side. Beach access was just a short walk from the house, which made outings with our three young children (all under 6) surprisingly easy. We made it to the sand with chairs and toys in tow—no complaints or “Are we there yet?” moments at all. This is truly the perfect cozy beach getaway, and we can’t wait to come back.

We stayed here 4 years ago, and again this trip. We have stayed many places in the area over the past 9years, this is our very favorite. We love the personal investment/care and notes from the owner. The home is the perfect beach house vibe. The views of the beach AND the lake are just the best combo. Plenty of space for us 2 adults and 2 teens. We love that it’s so dog friendly and safe for the dogs…that’s hard to find~thank you!! Bed is very comfortable!

The house was incredibly comfortable and clean. Was exactly what was shown in the listing. We really enjoyed our stay and all of the little extra touches that the hosts provided. I especially loved sitting on the front deck in the mornings with a cup of coffee watching the waves. Lovely home.
