Had a lovely relaxing two weeks with some excellent storms and a few gorgeous sunny days. Nice home and well equipped. Excellent location in Rockaway and an easy drive to Tillamook or up to Manzanita or Cannon Beach for additional exploration. Lovely Indian Food cart open later than most coastal restaurants which made a great 1st dinner after checkin! Comfortable furniture. Deck provides a wonderful place to watch the waves. Yard area works as a place for pets to briefly do their business as long as they just need a visual cue for where they are supposed to remain but would not work for a dog that needs containment has any history of escape artistry. Any tiny dog could walk through the slats and any agile medium/ large dog could jump right over or bounce the gate open. Guests need to be comfortable with stairs as main living areas are all on the second level. Closest Beach access is very close but no handrails and uneven rock steps so if mobility is challenging recommend access from downtown Rockaway.

This house desperately needs to be updated. When we arrived there was sand all over the floors. The kitchen cupboards were falling off the hinges. The beds were awful, as well as the pillows. The bathroom faucets leaked. The shower heads are old and out dated. There’s also holes in the walls, and it needs to be painted so bad. The couch is broken as well. I will not be returning.

The house itself and the views were absolutely amazing! And the location is great...peaceful yet super close to everything. However, if you are counting on the fenced yard for your fur babies...you will be disappointed. The fence has giant holes that will allow any size pet to escape. There were several areas of the home that could use improved cleaning (trash left behind and filthy blinds and windows) and maintenance ("fenced" yard and broken rails on back deck). Beds and furnishings are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. WiFI worked great. Lots of fun games and books for those days when the weather just won't cooperate!
