Dog friendly beach house with two full kitchens a private hot tub and Ping Pong

Loved being able to walk to the beach and to all of the downtown shops. Access to all things within walking distance.

When we arrived, it was very clear the beds were slept in by the prior guests and not changed...hair on the pillows and in the beds, pieces of food in a couple of the beds, etc. Not just a hair...we know that happens oaccasionally, nbd, but many hairs on and in ALL of the pillows and beds. Too, between the upstairs couch and coffee table, there was dropped food...what looked to be jelly and salsa and other stuff that had been dropped and dried. It cleaned up with a wet rag, but was very obvious the hardfloors were not even inspected, much less cleaned/mopped. There was a LOT of food that had been swept under the couches. What WAS cleaned (bathrooms and kitchens) was clean, but it was like they simply made the beds and that was all they'd done to the bedrooms, not changed sheets or pillow cases, etc. We are not high maintenence people (I know, that's what high maintenence people say :)), but we stay in rentals all over and even stayed in 2 others on this trip, and this place was really an outlier for the poor cleaning job. We camp and have no problem with dirt and dirty things....we just don't want to follow someone else's mess. We cleaned the floors and washed all the bed linens and comforters while we were there. After we called Vacasa and sent pics of the hairy beds and dirty floors, a very nice, apologetic woman came over and brought clean sheets and some extra detergent, and she changed a couple of the beds for us, for the sizes of clean bed sheets she had. I asked for a refund in the cleaning fee, which they obliged. Some of the culprit may have been the washer. The top of the agitator was COMPLETELY gunked up with hair and gelled detergent that none was being delivered to the bowl of the washer. Before we realized that, we tried a couple of loads of wash that were coming out with more hair and more gunk than how they went in. I disassembled the agitator and completely cleaned it and then the loads started seeming to be cleaner. Not a huge deal, but was kind of annoying to run about 10 loads of laundry btwn sheets/pillows and comfortors and remake all the beds before we could go to sleep the first night, and during our short, 2-day stay. I trust they'll get the cleaning agency to do a better job, and then this would be a better place to stay, but it was a little frustrating it wasn't better inspected prior to our arrival. Good luck!

The split level was great for our two families but just wish it was more than surface level clean. Clearly had not been deep cleaned in a long long time.

Loved two separate living spaces, the view upstairs is better. The location is flawless! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted.

Hot tub was nice

I loved the private hot tub. Soo close to the beach! Very relaxing! They took care of everything, all we had to do was enjoy! 10/10 highly recommend!
