What's nearby: This unbeatable location will grant you direct beach access about 125 feet west, at the end of NW 16th Ave. Pack your beach chairs, umbrella, and towels and head over to the beach to enjoy the breeze and work on your tan. Rockaway Beach has seven miles of pristine white-sand beaches that are open to the public. Other great activities you can try are boating, fishing, crabbing, sea kayaking, and sandcastle building. Less than one and a half miles south is downtown Rockaway Beach where dining options abound. If you'd like something other than water activities and the beach, you can put on your best hiking shoes and visit Rockaway Big Tree Trailhead, two miles south. It's an ADA accessible boardwalk through a remnant of coastal old-growth cedar wetlands right in town. If you follow the road, it'll lead you to the Big Cedar tree. The home was so lovely! Full of rustic charm and plenty of amenities to have a cozy good time at the coast! Especially with almost direct beach access. Was pleasantly surprised with the shampoo/conditioner/soap quality. So nice that there was blankets to use on the couch too.

I’m not sure why this place has the rating it does; I suppose it is due to the location which is excellent. The property has been neglected and needs a deep clean and some maintenance. Also, the photos are not up to date- the sofa is not the same and w/d is a stack unit that is in the way of the shower stall. The carpet and orange sofa are stained. The ceiling fans are filthy and shower curtain moldy . The master closet was unusable because it was full of clutter. The kitchen window does not lock and one of the bedroom windows won’t stay open. Will look for another place on our next trip.

Booked a 4 day stay at this little cabin next to the beach. Absolutely loved it. You had views of the ocean from inside the house from the living room and bedrooms , it was literally steps to the beach, loved that there was benches that overlooked the beach so you could watch the sunset or go down on the beach and have a fire at night. It was very quiet, considering there are homes completely surrounding it, which you never saw any neighbors. The cabin was decorated perfectly with the distressed furniture very cozy. It looks small from the outside, but once you go in, it’s way bigger than you would think. The beds were so comfortable that we didn’t want to get out of them in the morning. Loved that the kitchen and home had all the amenities that you would need. Down from dishes, pots, and pans, utensils dishwasher they had umbrellas, chairs, beach balls you name it. Anything you needed that House has it I would totally recommend it to anybody and I would stay there again

This was a cute beach cabin right on the water. The location was perfect with easy beach access. You could see the water from the living room windows as well. Very comfortable, clean rooms also. Bathroom shower was small but not a big deal for a short stay. Overall, we would stay here again!
