Family Friendly House Near the Beach with a Gas Fireplace Dogs Welcome

It is nice and perfect for us.

We really like the house but it needs a little basic maintenance handles coming off cabinets little things. Owner was awesome and the house is clean and beautiful. And Vacasa was Jonny on the spot bringing us things that we needed all in all a great trip

We loved the house in good location to the beach and seeing tide pools. The house was roomy and bright for 8 of us. The kitchen and living room were open. Aside of few negative items such as dripping kitchen faucet, broken chair, difficult thermostat control, it was a nice house for a vacation retreat.

I don't require much from a vacation rental other than 1) it be clean, and 2) everything that is provided be in good working condition. Unfortunately, neither of these were true during our visit. Housekeeping had a MAJOR fail. There are six beds in the home, not a single one of them had clean sheets. You may ask, how can I tell? It's obvious when you pull back the quilt/comforter. The sheets were COVERED in hair and stains, were completely rumpled, had sags down the middle where someone laid upon them and sand at the foot of the bed between the sheets. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words and I wish I could upload the photos that I took and shared with Vacasa. Absolutely horrible. My adult son and his girlfriend accompanied us on this trip and I was mortified and upset that the sheets were not changed on the beds. I reported this immediately to Vacasa upon check in. The response was "the local team has been notified". So, 8:00 pm rolls around and still no resolution from Vacasa. I contacted them again and was told the same thing-- the local team had been notified. I guess we're on our own! I spent hours washing bedding on my vacation (also, this was after an 8 hour drive to get to the beach). Good times. Other cleanliness issues: the oven was very dirty, the BBQ grill had not been cleaned in a very long time resulting in three-foot high flames from all of the built up grease, the towels are dingy, threadbare and some have actual holes. Again, I wish I could upload the photos I took. Condition of amenities: kitchen faucet drips incessantly, the breaker was blown when we arrived so no light in the downstairs bathroom or laundry room. Had to spend time tracking that down. [How was housekeeping able to clean two rooms without light, you may ask? Good question, my guess is that they didn't]. The ice maker in the fridge is intentionally disconnected. The left rear burner on the range does not work. One of the shelves in the kitchen cabinetry is broken and is held up by a strategically placed bottle of vegetable oil-- don't remove the bottle or else! The upper rack of the dishwasher is off the track and is difficult to slide in and out. The sofa in the living room has a 6 inch gash. [I reported this to Vacasa and was told that they are aware of it. If so, why hasn't it been fixed?]. The window coverings in the bedrooms provide privacy but do not block light whatsoever. There are some great things about this house. The kitchen is huge and well stocked (except for the lack of a can opener). The layout is great and there is plenty of storage. The bathrooms are spacious and really nice. The location is great. In summary, the home itself is great but the housekeeping and lack of maintenance/repair made this a very disappointing stay.

The house overall is awesome. Loved the bedroom and bathroom layouts along with the open family space. The ants are still a thing but didn't bother us much. Beach access is further than expected down the street to public access. something goes wrong, like a breaker flips, good luck getting any help from the local management team.

The house was clean but we couldn’t use half of the house when all the breakers kept on shutting off. We couldn’t use the showers due to no light, the water heater shut off so cold showers. Do not recommend customer support just said they would let the owner know about the issue and no solution to our problem
