Stunningly nestled among the dunes, this oceanfront home boasts incredible views of Rockaway Beach from the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, and the deck spanning the length of the house. It's a gorgeous place for days spent surfing and boogie boarding, with direct beach access from the property. This two-story home sits right on the ocean in Nedonna Beach, a tranquil neighborhood of Rockaway just over two miles north of downtown. It's a beautiful and peaceful area, with a beach access path shared with the next-door neighbor, a jetty half a mile down the beach, and two marinas where you can go crabbing or purchase local seafood within a couple of miles. This is an ideal home base for exploring the Oregon Coast, from Manhattan Beach State Recreation Site (less than a mile) and Cedar Wetlands Preserve (three miles) to the famous Tillamook Creamery (16 miles). Begin each morning outside on the oceanfront deck, a covered, 12-foot-by-40-foot space where you can sip your first cup of coffee, recline in an Adirondack chair, and watch for whale spouts on the horizon. After a day at the beach, rinse off any lingering sand (with hot and cold water just off the deck), light the gas grill for a family barbecue, and gather around the dining room table just in time for a memorable sunset. Entertainment abounds throughout the house, whether you're playing games by the gas fireplace in the living room, watching family favorites on one of the TVs (in the living room, the downstairs den, and two of the bedrooms), or shooting hoops on the arcade basketball game in the garage. Of the bedrooms (two upstairs, two downstairs), one is a primary bedroom with an en suite bathroom where you can unwind in the soaking tub at the end of each day. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
