Beachfront Dog Friendly Cottage with Private Hot Tub Fireplace and Ocean Views

The property was nice, as advertised. The sweeping view was magnificent. It'd be nice if there was a few more windows that could open, but definitely not a deal breaker. For the cost, it could have a few more high-end amenities.

This is a very cute little oceanfront cottage with the most fantastic view! Looks as pictured. Very clean! Short walk to beach access. Hot tub and fireplace, what more could you ask for. Hoping we’ll be back.

Views! Beach access! Comfort! This place has it all! We come back here over and over again because it can’t be beat!

Absolutely stunning view, with the ocean right below your deck especially at high tide. Beds are super comfy and there are plenty of windows that open to improve air flow. Washer and dryer are modern, kitchen small but well laid out. Coffee maker is drip brew which we prefer but a friend that came with us brought her own Keurig. Beach access is not easy - choice between walking several blocks to the wayside (and then back uphill afterward) or walking along the busy road to Symons viewpoint and slip-sliding down a steep and sandy cliffside path. NOT for those with physical impairments. Getting in the car and driving to the public wayside is one option but involves circling the parking lots and neighborhood streets, competing for the rare open parking spot - and this was midweek, not a weekend. The circular staircase to the loft and upstairs bedroom is a hazard - steps are polished wood and triangular in shape, so caution is needed especially when trying to carry belongings up and down the stairs. But the bigger hazard is walking and/or bending over under those stairs and knocking yourself on the head with the sharp metal frame. We moved a chest, end table and couch over there to keep us from trying to walk into that space. I would recommend the owners add a "mind your head" bright red warning sign at forehead height on the living-room side of the stairs. Lovely to have a hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean - two average size adults barely fit, and we overflowed it first thing. It's shallow and the seats are narrow and the jets are pretty weak - still great for a soak on chilly evenings and early mornings. Overall glad we came!
