Hello, Our stay was not very pleasant at this rental. The stench of animal pee was horrible, we had to get candles to make it a bit better. The towels provided also had a bad smell to them and they looked very old. The room facing the bay had a broken screen and could not enjoy the ocean breeze as it allowed flies and mosquitos inside. I understand you guys were understaffed and delayed my check in time by 1 hour, but it seemed the house was cleaned in a rush and not properly cleaned. The refrigerator was awful, not clean at all and has an awful smell. I was given a $50.00 refund for the late check in, but we were very displeased with how we received the home. We were not satisfied with our stay. I hope others receive better service, but i would not recommend it for the price. Parking is spacious, view is amazing, great location and a walking distance to the pier.
Absolutely disgusting. Stained, crispy, thin towels that should be turned into rags. Towels were dirty and had hair on them from preious guest. Bath mats still wet from previous use. Hair all over the shower walls, soap dispensers, trash can, and toilet rim, plus "brown stuff" left on the toilet seat. "Clean" towels in closets had ants crawling on them and there was a laundry basket full of someone else's wet dirty laundry. Coffee from the previous guest was left in the coffee pot, fingerprints on the appliances, crumbs left on table and chairs, and some sort of spill that had dripped down the cabinets and dried. THE WORST PART was turning down the sheets to go to bed and visually finding literal thick chunky dried glops of sexual bodily fluids. Then we got out the black light. Dear god, we wish we wouldn't have done that. We found more bodily fluids on the comforter, the bathroom walls, everywhere. The rug in the living room that is horribly stained does not have one square foot of fabric that isn't covered with bodily fluids. We got enough "clean" towels and sheets out of the closet and washed them just so we could use one bedroom and bathroom. It took over 90 minutes for the auto-sense on the washer to get the linens clean, even when we put it on quick wash. We cleaned and did laundry for 3 hours and were only refunded the cleaning fee after finally getting past the AI responses to the situation. Horrible. 3 stars only because this was one of our favorite places to stay multiple times. If it would've been clean, it would've gotten 5 stars for location. Such a cute quaint home with the cutest view on the coast. It's sad to see the management company not taking care of the owner's property.
Loved this location! Great view! Perfect for crabbing and fishing! My son loved waving to the people on the train! Will come back next time we want to go crabbing!
Love this property. Cute, spotlessly clean, amazing views and minutes from the boat launch. We were able to park our boat in the ample parking and be on the water in no time. As an earlier review mentioned- if you are coming from the boat launch, go past the house and turn around at the viewpoint and then you can back into the parking area fairly easily. Wonderful property-
This was a crabbing trip and this homes proximity to the crabbing dock was amazing. If you like cozy blankets, you'll need to bring your own. The blankets were thin and basic.
The view of Tillamook Bay but the deck chairs were low end quality compared to the $400 per night rental fee. And logging trucks rumbling down the hill into Garabaldi were annoying
