Renovated three story home by the beach with a furnished deck and washer dryer

As longtime Vacasa customers, we returned to this home because we had such a wonderful experience here in the past. Unfortunately, this stay fell far below expectations. We will not be returning. When we reached out for help, we were told Vacasa no longer manages the property and were redirected to Casago. It was frustrating and time-consuming trying to find any customer service or support. Our reservation felt unsafe and unsure (thought we had been scammed)! Advertising a listing that Vacasa doesn't actively support creates a risky experience for loyal guests. Key issues during our stay: Cleanliness & Safety: We found a surprising lack of attention to basic cleaning practices, requiring us to clean upon arrival. Missing Essentials: One bed had no linens at all (taking a full day to resolve). Be prepared and plan ahead. The home lacked and had limited basic supplies for the bathrooms or kitchen, leading to multiple trips to town. Capacity: Though listed for 8 guests, the lack of proper bedding made it impossible to comfortably accommodate our party of 7. We share this in hopes that standards improve for future guests. We are truly saddened by the drop in quality and customer care. Perhaps the change in management has brought about these changes. Based on this experience, we won't be booking this property, working with Casago or using Vacasa moving forward.

One of the beds is a pull out couch on the lower level and when we opened it, there was no mattress protector on it and it have physical dirt, like foot prints, and stains. She decided to instead sleep on the couch in livingroom. In checking the couch we found lots of food under the cushions and had to vaccum it out. There was a potato in the bottom drawer of the oven that had turned soft and squishy. The sky lights in livingroom had lots of cobwebs and dirty. The house has high humidity in it, stayed around 85%, and could use a dehumidifier on main and lower levels so things don’t feel so wet. The livingroom couch and chairs are fabric and smell musky and dirty. There is a ceiling fan, but couldn’t find the switch for it, which is good since once we saw how much dirt was on the blades. There were no bowls for mixing or storing leftovers. We found the drawer that said Tupperware but only had 2 lids in it. The location is really nice and short walk to the beach. However not worth the cost for me

Location Note it is 15 minutes away from most services so be prepared for a short drive to services such as grocery and such

We were *so* pleased with this vacation home. Clean, bright, perfect bedroom arrangement for our family, and every amenity we could possibly have wanted for our stay. And a very short walk to the beach and peaceful deck space too! 10/10, thank you!

Great location - peaceful, walking distance to a beautiful beach, can hear the ocean from the house, nice deck with a view of coastal forest. Very nice house - well supplied, clean. Loved the finished downstairs with bedroom, private bath and small living room. There’s also a master bedroom on the main floor and a bedroom in the loft. Highly recommended

The house was in a lovely spot with easy access to the beach. The house could have been cleaner and better equipped.
