Head to Tillamook and visit the Tillamook Cheese Factory or the Blue Heron Cafe for wine tasting, food sampling, and meandering through the unique gift shop. The location is good, and we'd stay there again. Here are some pros and cons: Pros - Location - easy walking distance to the beach. There is a path in the backyard down to the road below which goes straight to the beach - Great view of the water out the front - Nice little chairs and porch outside the door to hang out - Wifi - good and fast, and didn't ever disconnect - Nice to have a washer/dryer - Comfortable for a couple to stay for a weekend Cons - Low ceilings (hit the ceiling blow drying my hair) - Need to stoop down to look out the window - Bed is a little uncomfortable and squeaky - Couch is a little awkward and not comfortable to lounge on - Upstairs - very noisy when someone is walking around. Would not want to be there if there was a family of kids - Kitchen - fairly well stocked, but doesn't have everything, like a pizza pan or cookie sheet, which means the oven is useless unless you bring your own
