Yes, the view and accessibility to beach is easy except at the bottom, there's some boulders that you have to climb over. However, the house is the start of the quiet road so everybody will see you in the house when they drive by(there are blinds that you can pull down, but then you can't see the bay)!!The place was too tiny for the 4 of us with the one bathroom that you can hear everything! For the high price, they didn't even have coffee for you and no washer/dryer. There's another cabin just a few houses down and way cheaper(which is more private, but it's not as updated as this one). Netarts is super quiet, and nothing to do, but in Netarts bay, you could see seals with binoculars.
The view was outstanding!! It was also a great central location for exploring the area. We busted Cape Meares lighthouse and the Octopus tree, did a self guided walking tour of the historic dwellings in Tillamook, and visited Jacobson Salt Company. We came home each day and grilled on the outdoor gas grill. The chairs out front were great for watching the sunset when we didn’t feel like going down to the beach. And a special bonus was the thriving hummingbird community that frequents the flower bushes along the street. In fact, there were many birds to watch, including a bald eagle that flew by our first day visiting. The cottage is super cute!
We've stayed here before, perfect location to enjoy the tide changes.
Beautiful quaint little 2 BR cottage! Beds were so comfortable - and kitchen was pretty well stocked. We LOVED the pull out table - such a great idea! And can’t say enough wonderful things about the beach and the access to it!! PLUS there’s a very convenient great market just up the road! Highly recommend this place!
This is a wonderful little house right on the coast. The views are fantastic and the place is clean and well kept. It has a gas grill and full kitchen. It is just a short walk to the beach! There's a great corner store one block away with everything you might need or forgot at home. This place is perfect for a couple looking for a weekend escape, or a small family getaway. Due to the nature of the tiny Jack and Jill bathroom, I don't recommend couples sharing as it's awkward, and you can hear everything. But don't let that stop you, we will definitely be coming back. Such a great deal for it's location, peace, and comfort.
Very quiet (other than the waves, wind, and rain) and out of the crazy hustle and bustle of the more popular ocean towns. The beach was lovely, just watch the high and low tide and don't get caught out there when it's getting to high. Only downside to the area is there are not a lot of food options, so take some or plan to drive 20+ mins. But the quiet and calm was worth it!
