Stunning coastal home with ocean views firepit and media room walk to beach

We loved the spaciousness and how clean the house was. The view was beautiful and the beach was flat and great for walking. The neighborhood was quiet. A couple things we would have liked to see was a freezer in the kitchen. We had to go downstairs to get something from the freezer. We would have liked a TV in the upstairs living area as well.

The house itself is very nice, spacious lots of room. But be warned it is not near the beach, there is no path to the beach, you will have to drive down and deal with limited parking. WiFi and connectivity is below any rating of broadband, we could barely connect phones to check messages and had to go into tillamook to fully check email or download videos. House needs a serious power washing, the outside deck (and overhangs) are covered in spiderwebs. The kitchen amenities all look nice but are functionally limited, but not beyond what you’d expect from a rental (the fact that some items are so nice but so many other corners are cut make it feel very disjointed).

Great location with a nice view of the ocean, sitting high on a hill in a quiet neighborhood. Oceanside is a cute town with less traffic than some of the other coastal areas. We really enjoyed our time at Firepit Lagoon.

Excellent location with great views! House needs an upgrade. Issues experienced by all our guests during the stay are - downstairs bedroom is infested with bugs/spiders, lower bathroom is unclean with paint peeling off, all beds are hard, squeaky and have caused back pain to most of the guests, bedroom upstairs has broken blinds and can't be used at all, leaky kitchen outlet, water overflowing- unusable, dinner plates and cookware had stale food on them, upstairs sofa is rundown with stains on it. I saw some of the complaints from previous guests similar but unfortunately they have not been taken care till date. At $600/night, I think the return I got was compromised. On top of that, add another $1000 approx for services, cleaning, tax etc is unjustified. I would have expected a courtesy partial refund but no response so far from VRBO.

Beautiful view of the ocean and a very beautiful home. Very clean and cozy place. Will definitely be renting again!!

This was a spacious home, perfect for two couples vacationing together. There were several important amenities missing I.e. no salt in the spice cabinet or blow dryer in the bathroom. Some furniture is clearly in need of cosmetic repair. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.
