House was clean, had a great view, and all amenities were provided. Only two negatives, both minor: The fireplace was out of order, and parking was a challenge. Despite that, we are planning on coming here again!
Location is great for walking and great for dogs!
Spectacular view and easy access to beach
Beautiful View. Comfy house.
... Beautiful views, incredible art collections, comfortable beds, adequate kitchen supplies. I only gave it 4 stars because the fireplace is not functional. I loaded enough wood for a week of cozy fires, only to find (WHEN I GOT THERE!) that we couldn't use the fireplace. I hope they fix the fireplace; it is part of the place's charm. I was disappointed in Vacasa's slow response to my request for a partial refund, and grateful they came through in the end. Also, there is only one deck chair on the deck (who wants to watch the incredible view alone?). We schlepped kitchen chairs in and out because the deck is a wonderful place for the whole family to hang out.
House was very conveniently located near the beach. Kitchen had plenty of items. Did not want for anything. (Maybe a potato masher)! Hot water was hot! Water pressure was great. Some plumbing fixtures are a bit dated and therefore need a bit of elbow grease. Heating was great, maybe a little cold in the downstairs. Loved the deck overlooking the beach. Parking was squeaky tight and not for the faint of parallel parking. We went during off season and were able to navigate the parking situation without issue but I could see this being a challenge during high season. Stairs leading up to house were very steep and a bit off kilter- use the hand rail and bring a headlamp if you plan to navigate in the dark. If you are not a dog person, I would not recommend this house to you. It is clean however it definitely is a house that dogs have been in- face it, it’s just different. It’s great for the pet people or those that have lots of kids. I would stay here again. I don’t care for the way Vacasa sets up the nightly rates. It’s very misleading with all the fees that get added on at checkout. Other than that- would stay again! Artwork was very cool.
