We weren’t expecting a lot with the decent price we paid for this room, but at the very least, I expect a room to be decently clean if it’s run through a property management company like Vacasa. When we arrived, there was dirt on the ground, coffee spills on the bathroom door, and long black hairs on the towels and bedding. We usually bring extra bedding when we travel, so we dealt. However, in the middle of the night, the smoke alarm kept beeping like the battery was low. At one point, it completely went off at 12:30am and 4:00am for absolutely no reason. Considering the bed was also not very comfortable at all, it’s safe to say we didn’t sleep well during our stay. My husband ended up just taking the battery out because it was going off nonstop. The shower also took a very long time to heat up- not much they can do about that I’m sure. The coffee pot wasn’t the right size for the machine itself, so I had to hold the pot up to the top of the machine so the water would go into the pot and not all over the table. On the positive side- the view from the Seahorse rooms are unmatched. I do wish the room had a screen door so we were able to keep our door open at night and hear the waves. All in all, not a great experience unfortunately. Luckily we were out most of the day anyways, but would have at the very least enjoyed getting a good nights sleep.
The room had a perfect view of the ocean
Overall the room was fine. The walls in the room are rather beat up and could use some repairs. The view is wonderful and it was as clean as it could be under the circumstances.
We have been going there for 4 or 5 years. We really like the placing of the hotel. It is midway between every thing we like doing
The view
Great view of the crashing waves and if you leave the windows open, you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
