Dog Friendly Cozy Coastal Condo Minutes from the Beach

The place was not clean. Bed were made with the thinnest blankets and sand everywhere. Bathroom window broken and patched with a piece of drywall. We could have dealt with all of that if it not were for the people above us making noise from 1030-4 am. Our toddler didn't sleep a wink from their constant banging and stomping. We ended up leaving 7 am and not staying our second night. The wifi password also didn't work just to add to the experience.

This place was so perfect! 5min walk to the beach.

Bathroom shower knob was broken , doors where really squeaky moths & flies every where inside the home . No tvs in the rooms only in living room. Couch stinked

Place was very dated and we had a ceiling leak. Maintenance was outstanding and replaced the bed and patched the ceiling within a couple hours. Vanessa refunded me for the night. I love the friendly staff here. Very accommodating. Just wish this unit had a ocean view like the others.

Great location however the room was quite dirty.

The bedding wasn’t very clean. Upon arrival I made the beds in 2/3 rooms and they were dirty. Had dirt/sand and clumps of hair on them. The bathroom had a bunch of spider webs on the walls and the floor had sand. The toilet was dirty also. The house is at a slant. If you plan on staying here, be prepared to feel drunk everytime you are in the house. There is a step-up from the hallway where the rooms are into the living room, and a step-up from the living room to the bathroom. Me and my guests tripped over the steps multiple times. The keypad into the home gave us so many problems. I called Vacasa and they sent someone out to come check it. She was able to get the entry to work on the first try. Sometimes it would work on the first try for us, but other times we’d have to enter the number in 30-40 times before we were able to get in. Eventually we just had someone make sure to stay in the room the entire time so when one of us would leave for any reason, there was always someone inside to Open the door so we didn’t have to do the keypad entry. There is a brand new looking coffee pot in this rental. We had no idea how to make it work. We tried for upward of 15+ minutes each morning. Tried every button, method, etc. even looked up the brand on Google to see if there were instructions. It was a nightmare. Luckily, we were able to eventually get the pot brewing. But we had no idea what we did to make it work, so each day after, it was a repeat of struggling to get it to brew. There is nothing in this home for cooking. Come prepared. Not even salt or pepper. If you plan on coming to stay for quite some time, be prepared to make an extensive grocery haul for items. We couldn’t get the TV to work either. The amenities shown on this rental listing said there would be a TV, tried to keep small children entertained later in the evening, and we tried every option on it and were never able to get it to work. The rental listing also says beach access. Just a 2 minute walk away. However, it failed to tell us that there is construction going on at the moment. I took my 80 year old grandmother on this trip. When I tell you the walk to the beach access was DICEY. Steep steps, huge hills, lots of rocks to climb up and over. Definitely recommend driving somewhere with closer beach access while they are doing this construction. One thing I do have to mention that I enjoyed about this listing, as everyone at Vacasa was helpful. They sent out someone the same day I called about the issues we were having with the keypad entry. They also answered everytime I called. We had an emergency on the way up and I called about checking in late, and confirming reservations, etc. I emailed in regards to extra bedding and they were quick to respond. Customer service was excellent.
