Dog friendly home with ocean views hot tub deck foosball and fireplace

We stayed in the upper and lower units. Both units were very spacious and had everything you can imagine in the kitchens. Beach access a block away, but get ready for the stairs to the beach- it is steep, but there are landing spots to take a breather! The beach is beautiful!!

We took our 4 adult children and their significant others for a 4 day beach getaway and this house was perfect! The apartment downstairs was great for those that are the late risers and the upstairs kitchen/dining/living area was awesome and where we spent most of our time while we were at the house. Beach access is super close with stairs or the road/ramp. Shops, coffee and food were within walking distance and the neighborhood is super quiet. Hot tub was a nice addition and didn't take long to heat up (assuming they leave it set low when the rental is not in use to conserve energy, but we upped it to 102 and it was hot the next morning). Everyone went for a soak at one point! Game room was cool but might serve better with a big table in it but the upstairs bedroom has the BEST shower!!!! Will definitely stay here again for our next beach trip.

House was very nice. Didn’t like that you had to go outside to get from lower level to upper level.

This house had everything that the eight of us wanted, a hot tub, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on two floors with a giant TV to watch the summer games and it was dog friendly. The location was perfect with incredible sunset views and only a few blocks down to the beach. Lincoln City Beach was awesome as we were there at extreme morning low tide season which made the four-mile run down to the “Devils Thumb” so nice. The house was within walking distance to downtown Lincoln City shops and restaurants. Best of all, the neighborhood was quiet and was close to some amazing hikes on “The Knoll”, “God Thumb”, and “Cascade Head” trails. We were very impressed with Vacasa customer service. We had some issue with the lock box and dishwasher, but Vacasa was very helpful with phone support and sent someone over to show us how to reset the breaker for the dishwasher. Overall we had a great time at Harbor House!

We specifically selected this home for its hot tub feature; however it was not working while we were there. Specifically after using it our first night for a bit, it just shut off and would not turn on. It was also dirty and not that hot the first night. The local maintenance guy came out the next morning and concluded a fuse was blown but couldn’t access the fuse box until much later in the day. He then confirmed it was working. He also had someone come clean the hot tub as he recognized how bad it was. Upon reentering the hot tub within minutes there was a pop, smoke and then the hot tub shut off again. Thankfully no one was injured. The maintenance guy never returned and we were without a hot tub the rest of our vacation. The owners offered a $200 refund which is not sufficient to compensate our loss when we paid nearly $3500 for our stay.

Beds were uncomfortable. E-lock code never came until we spent an hour on the phone beginning at check-in time. Cleaning lady was still cleaning 30 minutes past check-in. Top floor dishwasher did not turn on. Other than these issues, it was fine. It was clean.
