Gorgeous Ocean Views Private Hot Tub Game Room WiFi Patio and Washer Dryer

Was absolutely disgusted. I booked this house for Halloween weekend and it is infested with cockroaches. Only stayed one night because I didn't want these creepy crawleys to come home with me. I had to throw away all my food. I had to tell the 3 families that were staying there with me that they had to go home. And put their belongings in a bag outside so they wouldn't carry creepy crawlies in their home as well. I don't understand how a nice house like this is not being taking care of properly. Then I go look back on reviews. And there is 3 other reviews stating the same thing. Cocaroches, this is so disgusting and nasty. If I would have known that this place was infested, I would have never have booked it it should say ocean view lovely home infested with cockroaches. People beware

First, the good. Everyone enjoyed the amenities and entertainment. The pool table, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and board games were in good condition, as was the majority of the other furniture. The only complaint was the saggy queen bed and barbecue that has rusted out burners. The real problem with the house was how dirty it was. Problem 1. I don't know when the floors were last mopped because the floors made our feet and socks dirty. We found the mop, but it was yellow and brown stained, so we bought a mop and floor cleaner and mopped the floors. No more dirty feet after we mopped. Baseboards were also very dirty and we cleaned them as we mopped. Problem 2. The windows were so dirty we could barely see out the windows to enjoy the ocean views. We bought a window squeegee and cleaned the windows. Problem 3. The cabinet behind the trash can was dirty with grease and food particles. We cleaned the cabinet. Problem 4. The kitchen was infested with cockroaches. We killed about 50 roaches. We bought two cans of roach killer and roach bait, but it didn't seem to help much. If the house was maintained to be cleaner, the risk of roach infestation would be lower. We tried working with the relocation team to see if there was another house to relocate to because of the cockroach infestation. I was disappointed in the lack of comparable options to the house we were in. While the house is in a good location and has good amenities, I wouldn't rent it again unless they fix the cockroach infestation. Also, I had a brother who was renting another Vacasa home a quarter mile up the road from me, and while he didn't have a cockroach problem, the floors in his family room and kitchen also turned their feet and socks black, so the Vacasa cleaning crews are not very thorough.

I'm not sure what the "cleaning" fees were paid were for but it was NOT for cleaning the house. Also I was told and given information that I based decisions on, that were not accurate. I am so disappointed! I have pictures available on request and have shared them with taqhe host.

Excellent location, home floorplan and amenities especially for families of all ages! Would book again!!!

Great location, clean house, fun games and things to do. Beds were not comfortable, need to be replaced.

The home had tons of items to keep all the children occupied while weather was poor. I’m someone who loves plenty of blankets, and there was plenty of blankets throughout the home. And most importantly, the property management was responsive and very helpful anytime we had a question.
