Dog friendly home with beautiful ocean view game room and easy beach access

Great home for a larger family. The view was amazing. The game room was a lot of fun. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home with easy beach access. The living room is full of natural light and has the most amazing views. Kids loved the game room on the lower level. We had a fun movie night on our last night. Great weekend with the family.

Great views. Lots of room.

Due to negligent maintenance, there were rocks all over in the driveway from the road, and because the driveway is so steep, one of our cars slid on the rocks into another parked car as it was backing down the driveway. This happened right when we arrived at 3:30 pm. We were unable to drive it out, so we had to call a tow truck. Because of the narrow, gravel road the house is on, there weren't any available tow trucks in the area that could get the job done. A tow truck was not available until the next day at around 4 pm. It was difficult to unload our stuff as the cars were rear-end to rear-end. Luckily, the back seats folded down so we were able to get our stuff. I alerted Vacasa of this issue, and they had us park in a nearby hotel parking lot. The housekeeper was still there when all this happened and said she doesn't park in the driveway due to this issue. She parks at the hotel. It was even unsafe to walk up and down the driveway because we kept slipping and sliding on the rocks. One of the Vacasa employees came by later due to some other issues, and one of my guests requested a push broom so we could sweep the driveway. He did bring a broom, but I feel the employee should have been the one sweeping the driveway and not us. After that, it was better, but it was still very difficult to get out of the driveway because once you got to the top where the gravel road is, the tires would spin and had a hard time getting traction. I wouldn't recommend using the driveway. In fact, we didn't use it at all after we first arrived. We parked at the top of it when we loaded up to leave. Unfortunately, the hatchbacks on the 2 cars involved in the driveway accident will not open, so loading them was also an issue. The upstairs refrigerator didn't cool down adequately, so we kept having to run up and down the stairs to the other refrigerator to get our food, which was really inconvenient. The ice maker wasn't working either when we first arrived. It was full of ice, but none would come out. Someone in our party figured out the issue. When using the stove, we could only get 2 burners to work. We had 10 guests, so this was also very inconvenient. In the game room, there was only one usable dart for the dart board. There were no balls for the foosball table. Of the 4 pool cues, only 2 had tips on them, and the other 2 were barely usable. I did call/text Vacasa on the evening of our arrival to let them know about all of our issues. The next day, they brought by foosballs and darts. Unfortunately, the foosball table didn't work correctly, so when you scored a goal, the ball dropped to the floor instead of going to the return. Someone came Tuesday to look at the stove, and one burner started working, but the other one only ignited when using a lighter. He couldn't do anything about the refrigerator. I was told I'd be comped for the appliances but have not received anything yet. I also have not heard anything about a claim to fix our cars.

The home was very beautiful and just loved it

This place was very unclean when we arrived. The carpets and rugs were filthy, dirt and sand were under the rug, mold in the window and door frames, the bathroom vents were coated in dust... Appliances were dirty, some even had MOLD on them (such as the blender). There was a strong odor throughout the home- a musty/urine smell... The driveway was pictured to look flat- it was a very steep gravel incline that causes vehicles to nearly spin out just trying to leave. The driveway was not large enough for 3 vehicles, which is advertised in the description. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, you can feel the springs. I wish there were curtains or blinds on more windows, such as the rooms where there are sleeping accomodations (like the pull-out couches on teh second level) Chairs at the dining room table were broken. Absolutely NOT ADA friendly whatsoever.
