Charming three story getaway with two cozy living areas walk to the beach

The house is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and appointed. We would stay again!

We took our grandkids to L.C. For a summer vacation. The house was great. The down stairs play room was great . We really loved the house . Our only complaint is to other former house guests. Please clean up after yourself. To expect the housekeeper to have to catch that you put dirty cutting boards in the cubards or dirty silverware in the drawers is inconsiderate. We love this place and plan on renting it again next July

This house is PERFECT for a beach getaway! The neighborhood is super cute, with beach access just up the road and a community park for everyone to enjoy. The house itself is a perfect fit for a group and the large couches and ample dining area make it perfect to lounge, cook, play games, and bring people together! The front porch on a sunny morning is to die for :) No complaints — I’d stay here over and over again!

Booked last minute over thanksgiving weekend and it was super affordable in a nice community neighborhood. Amenities were nice and everything was very clean. Some fun toys for our 4 year old and games provided too. Nice cozy space. Would stay again.

The house was cozy and perfect for a family of 4. The positives: comfy beds, 2 living spaces, close to beach access. The negatives: entry area was cramped. My family and I always remove our shoes when entering a home. The entryway lacks a bench or place to put shoes so getting in and out with 4 people took some patience. The water heater is set at 120. Although it was a lovely, sunny week at the beach, the temperatures outside were chilly. It took a long time for the water to heat up for showers and once it did, with the lever all the way to hot, the water was just above lukewarm. It would have been nice to take a warm soothing shower after a day at the beach. The last area for improvement would be the kitchen. We didn't cook a traditional thanksgiving dinner but we did cook all our meals at the house. The cookware was not clean. Every pot and pan had some sort of dried food remaining from previous occupants. This was disappointing. When I say every pot and pan, I mean it. I spent a lot of time washing dishes before being able to use them. My family and I have stayed in over 14 different homes within Olivia Beach and this one rates as average. We probably wouldn't choose this rental for a repeat visit, but overall we had an enjoyable beach trip nonetheless.

We loved this house in the heart of the Olivia Beach neighborhood. Our older kids particularly enjoyed the front porch and retreating to the basement to watch movies. The younger kids loved the park a short walk away, and we all enjoyed the short walk. Thanks for having us!
