Our trip started with the elock not working so we had to call and be on hold trying to get the code for the physical key box. Then once we were inside the smoke alarms were going off! Fire department came and replaced batteries, but the wired-in alarms beeped all night, every two hours we had to hush them. Vacasa finally had someone come out and remove the unit and that solved it. Other then that, the house is built on the side of a cliff, so to get to it is a very narrow steep alley way and VERY tight parking. I'm glad we had small compact cars, if you have a full sized truck or SUV it would be tight! Parking for 7 it says, which includes two in a garage at the bottom of the hill. Two are supposed to be the driveway but again it would be very tight! We were able to squeeze 4 small cars by the front door, but with the narrow road there is no room to even really pull off to unload. The house is 3 floors, then its a floor and a half to get to the hot tub below. And also another two stories just to make it to the garage and trash can! Be prepared to feel the burn! The house is new and nicely furnished, so it made our stay better given everything. The queen room on the middle floor can literally hear the water coming down the pipes in the wall when someone flushes upstairs. There was construction literally 10 feet away next door from us so beware if staying durning the week! Also there were outdoor cameras we saw and I think that should be disclosed before renting as well. Especially cause one camera was kinda pointed at the hottub area so its a little uncomfortable feeling like your being watched.

This house did not disappoint! We were so happy with everything the house had to offer. It was perfect for our four families. Everyone had a comfortable room with their own bathroom, plus one extra! The views from the balconies were spectacular. We used the hot tub multiple times and that was a nice extra. The kids loved the pool and playground. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything we might need. I would love to stay at this house again if we come back to the area!

We were very disappointed. The description says: "Beautiful and spacious home, steps to the beach, with hot tub and foosball table". The hot tub was out and we did not get to use it. "steps" was a HUGE understatement. The beach access was 3 blocks down, 3 blocks over, over a boardwalk (that had stairs to get to it), another 2 blocks up a hill, and then 6 STEEP flights of stairs from the cliff down to the beach. Then of course you have to go up those steep steps to get back. The decks all had chairs that accommodate cushions. The cushions were in the garage that is 3 flights of steep steps down a hill and then up a steep driveway into the garage. Driving them back to the front of the house would be the best way to trek them all to the chairs on multiple decks. Not realistic and not user friendly. The cushions were also very dirty, so we would have had to clean them all off. The kitchen had a few spices, which was nice. only 1/2 roll of paper towels, so we had to buy more. The bathrooms each had 1 extra roll of toilet paper. We had 6 people and the toilet paper lasted 3 days before we had to go buy some. There were NO directions on how to operate anything but the broken hot tub. No directions on how to get to the clubhouse or the beach. We never did find the light switch for the deck off the kitchen, so the light shines into the bedroom next to it all night. Kitchen had a lot of cooking options, but is very well set up for baking. I don't do a ton of baking on vacation, but if you do, you are set! Not super set up for normal cooking, but there was enough that we got by. There was dishwasher soap, which was nice. Almost enough trash bags for us, but I brought some and ended up using my own the last 2 days. The WORST part of this place was the stairs. You go into the door and that level has 1 bedroom, a bathroom, the master bed and bath as well as the laundry. Down a very steep set of 16 steps is a TV room, another bathroom and the kids room. There is a slider to go outside in the TV room, which was a bit scary for my kids alone down there. There is another floor 16 steep steps up to the kitchen, 1/2 bath, dining, TV room and another master bedroom with bath. The top level was nice, bedroom was quiet, but we couldn't get the light off outside the dining area, so that light comes into the bedroom. The bedrooms on the other 2 levels were VERY noisy. The rain sounded like someone was dumping legos on the floor above, every time anyone moved on the floor above or below you, you heard everything. From the Master on the middle floor, you can hear the kids conversation 1 floor below, enough to have a conversation with them from another level. Earplugs are a MUST. Also, if you have a problem with stairs, this is NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!! It would have been nice to know that up front. There is NO BEACH VIEW. you can see the ocean from a distance but can't hear it. Overall, very disappointing!

Its new and very nice. Much bigger than I expected. The stairs are not for the faint hearted. Not the best property for disabled or people with physical limitations. Plan on bringing a midsize or smaller vehicle if you plan on parking above the property. The garage below can accommodate a full size vehicle , then you have a stair climb to the first floor. The house is lovely and well appointed in a very nice walkable neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach. We had a great stay!
