Ground floor condo 1 block from the beach with private patio dog friendly

I think overall especially for pricing, this place is cute and small/ cozy for a family with dog. The partial ocean view is from across the street kinda blocked, so keep that in mind. Kitchen and water heater were awesome, place was overall very clean and tidy. Lush carpet. We really liked the breakfast bar/ counter, it was really nice to eat and watch tv. However, my biggest BIGGEST thing that prevented from a 5 star, and a return in trip to this location, is genuinely the noise from upstairs. The first night we were there we were up until almost 4am trying to sleep but there was continuous walking and noise for HOURS on end. It really put a damper on our full day at the beach since we were only there for a few days, because we were so tired. The second night (our final night), it was the same thing until maybe 12:30am or so, which was a small improvement, but still really bothersome. My husband and I actually had to use the futon in the living room both nights we were there because it was the quietest place we could find. The futon is actually super comfortable, we felt. If this place is able to sound proof the ceiling, I feel like this place would be exceptional, but as someone who really enjoys privacy, and quiet during a vacation, I couldn’t enjoy it to its full appeal. If you need quiet to sleep, you’ll have a hard time, if not, you’ll be okay. The people upstairs are night owls. Worth the price and stay, was still a cute and cozy place.

Convenient location. House was clean and beds comfortable. Kitchen was very cute.

Overall, our stay was nice. It is just a few blocks from the beach (although be prepared for some stairs to get there). There is a unit directly above and you can hear every step of the above guests. Quiet time is supposed to be at 9pm, which is pretty early, but the guests above us were up till almost midnight making lots of noise. It wasn't too big of an annoyance, but for some it probably would.

We had such a great experience with this little place. It was clean, easy check in, and had pretty much all we needed (except for food and coffee 😉). Loved watching the sunset every day and being so close to the beach/ocean was a plus! For the most part it was quiet, except for the guest upstairs that were loud at night but that was for a few nights, then we had the place all to ourselves!
