Dog friendly oceanfront home with views fireplace hot tub and washer dryer

Great views and great location! Very steep driveway though.

House has amazing views. 17 steps total from parking area to the main floor, second level. Twelve additional steps to the upper level which has 1 bedroom and bathroom and impressive view. Not easy if you have any balance or leg pain issues. There is a steep tile stairwell just a few feet away from the entrance of the house. It lead’s downstairs to bedrooms, laundry area and game rooms. I was afraid that someone could fall down the steps. Scary for little ones or elderly guests. There are areas on top level that are elevated that are easy to trip over. I tripped twice. These areas should be marked clearly (in red) at eye level. It is very difficult to notice. No safe place to take your dog to do its business. Must walk down very steep driveway to the road, which has no sidewalks. No ice trays. Ice maker does not work. Had to go buy ice. Large stains on main floor bedroom carpet. No rubber mat for tub and no grab rails. Slippery tub main floor. Coffee maker upon arrival had course grounds inside it that looked like it overflowed. A real mess. Tile floor was sticky. I don’t think it is right to have guests carry all towels and bedding down all of those steps to the garage level before they leave. Turning around driveway is very tight and difficult to turn around. Thank God for Toyota power steering and back up camera.

We absolutely loved staying here! Gorgeous views and lots of room for our big family.

This rental was very clean and well appointed with nice nautical decor. The layout of the home was interesting and functional, with a terrific third floor viewing living room and game table. We lived up on there for our entire stay! This home does NOT have beach access, although it is beachside and above the tidal wave zone. It would not be suitable for guests with ambulatory issues as there are A LOT of stairs both in the interior and exterior of the house.

Pros: +/ Spacious, clean, and well maintained property +/ Beautiful views of the beach from the windows and balcony +/ Plenty of kitchen appliances for meals +/ High end hot tub +/ In a more secluded neighborhood with less beach goers than other areas of Lincoln City +/ Proximity to the store (McKays) and Lincoln City outlets Cons (if I am to be picky): -/ Not a beach access property. It is a 5-min walk to the beach access point which a slight incline on the walk back to the property. -/ Steep driveway -/ Will need to bring your own ground coffee (unless it was left by previous guests) -/ While it is not officially listed, there is an outdoor grill, but it is not the most functional
