Carpets are so old, musty, and stained. The house stinks so bad, out suitcases stunk up our room when we got home even while still zipped. We had a few issues that customer service never helped with, the lack of communication is astounding. The fridge was set at 60 degrees and I asked how to turn it down. It took a few tries reaching out to management, they kept saying they would give me an update when they know more but never would. Then they said someone came to the house and fixed the fridge. We were all weirded out and felt our privacy wasn't valued. The Internet doesn't work nor does the wifi. I reached out many times and the same as the fridge, they kept saying they would send updates as they got it but I never heard anything and it was never fixed. A lot of the blinds and screens were not attached and we had to fix them during our stay, they were sitting in closets and easily attached. Just another careless action from the owner and management. We asked for a late check out and were given one, however, the cleaners arrived when one car left, unknowing that there was another car of people inside. The cleaners said they had no idea we had a late check out. This is another example of a lack of communication Overall, I'll never stay here again and I urge you not to as well. Also, cautiously book through vacasa. I've had issues with rentals through vacasa before but they were great in solving the issues quickly. This was my 2nd rental with them where I've had issues that were ignored and disregarded. I was offered a $50 refund which was a slap in the face.

We stayed for about a week in this lovely home. The views of the ocean were breathtaking taking. The beds were very comfortable, lots of seating and a large table. The kitchen was pretty well equipped. We did have an issue with cleaning when we arrived, but the management company was able to deal with it and provided both compensation and communication. We would that at here again.

If you react to the smell of older homes, you will likely experience symptoms staying here. The price probably reflects this factor, as the home is extremely affordable for what it offers. If you do not have those issues, this home will be an incredible beach experience. There are windows throughout both levels of the house that maximize the view of the ocean. The main living area is spacious and comfortable. In the kitchen, you can have multiple people preparing food without bumping into each other. As mentioned by other reviewers, there is a path to beach access if you walk north on the gravel road the home is situated on. The beach access is a narrow path between lots, with stairs at the top. It ends at a sandstone rock you have to climb down to reach the beach. The beach itself on this part of the Oregon coast is really fun to explore, with rocks to climb on, drift wood and shells to collect, and great stretches of sand for walking barefoot.

The View is spectacular as well as the location/neighborhood. Other than that, the house is completely run down. There are stains ALL over the house. They look like urine stains. Half of the blinds don’t work. The screen door upstairs is completely shredded. There’s mold above the fireplace. Mold in the master bath, and an odd odor throughout the house. The deck is pretty scary with loose boards, unattached rails and nails sticking out, plus someone used a couple plastic chairs to fill a gap in the railings? This house has so much potential. It really is a great house with an awesome view, just needs some major TLC.
