We had a very relaxing getaway and would definitely stay again in the future. It’s really in the middle of the woods so it’s best to drive a vehicle that can handle that.

The sweetest quiet little getaway. We could go out for breakfast, see some of the coast and come home to the relaxing natural true cabin in the woods feel. Clean and cozy, Fantastic view of the ocean behind the lake. spectacular sunsets, full outdoor deck overlooking all of it. Its a really great spot. We want to come back.

The kid room smelled especially bad. There was no split firewood for the fireplace and the radiant heat didn't keep the main floor warm. There are little wood splinters stuck in the living room rug that hurt when you step on them. The couch in the tv room was exceptionally uncomfortable. Most upsetting was the bat that woke us up in the primary bedroom at 3:30am. There is a note on the door to that room saying to leave the screen door closed due to bats. We followed those rules. The bat lives in a crevice in the ceiling. There was bat poop on the bed and on the ground under the crevice. There was also poop in the kid room. I contacted the help line and they said "Sorry, someone local will be in contact." Never heard back. We are in contact with our family doctor to determine if we need to follow the PEP rabies protocol.
