Bright Home with Sweeping Ocean Views and Quiet Location Close to Town

The view of the ocean is amazing, the house sits up on the cliff of Pacific City. The house itself needs lots of work from the yard to the foundation.. interior needs a deep clean.

The best part of this home was the view of the ocean and Haystack Rock. Unfortunately the pictures on the listing are very outdated and the home is not in the condition advertised. Many items were broken or malfunctioning and mold was found on one of the mattresses. The "local team" was quick to remove the mattress after I reported it, but there is no air circulation in the home (HVAC does not work). The dining room fan did not work either. Someone was sent out to repair it, but it did not operate separately from the light, so we had to turn it off at night (my children slept on the living room floor because they did not want to sleep in the bedroom with mold spores).

The view is amazing, but everything else needs to be changed

Very dirty linens, animal urine, animal poop (on deck), black mold (on attached garage). Front yard very overground. Backyard a solid mass of tall blackberries. Badly worn couch and sliding glass door. Broken blinds. Clean floors, counters and bathrooms. Great view. Automatic messaging from Vacasa partially failed and created some very frustrating issues.

What a horrific stay in this home. Wish I could give a Minus Rating. The house welcomes you with a bad smell. Very bad mattresses, furniture and home feels like sinking down and sideward All of us had skin allergies , Dust allergies and flu because of the dust and very bad almost ruined mattresses We are leaving this review as we dont want any other family to suffer like us. We booked for 5 days. On first day, everyone in my family including very young kids got rashes and on second day we all fell sick. We vacated immediately on second day. We got ourselves checked out with doctors and determined that all of us affected with Influenza B virus. All of this torture is just because of this dirty and disgusting home environment. We thought many times before giving review but just to save any other family, we are providing this review.
